We stayed in one of the large rooms. The beds were very comfortable and we straight away good additional pillows. The bathroom is great with nice shower. The hotel is in walking distance to all the sights and different areas and as you would expect this comes with traffic noise. When closing the window the noise is reduced to minimum...

Hotel Helvetia is charming and well decorated with interesting pieces. The rooms are small but comfortable with nice linens and Kiehl products. No air conditioning on a hot night made the room a little too warm, but they did have a fan. The windows opened helped cool it off but then you hear the traffic. The restaurant is small and...

Clean but room very small and with no air conditioning. Very nice and helpful staff. Lovation perfect for business travellers. Will stay here again. If only staging s couple of days it's perfect but in the heat of the summer could do with air con. Loved the Kehils bathroom toiletries

We needed a hotel relatively close to the train station as we had a very early return flight. Hotel Helvetia is a 10-15min walk from Hauptbahnhof station. Overall a very good hotel, however some things stand out, booth positively and negatively. Our room (#52) was very spacious and even included a small kitchen (which we did not use due to...

Atmospheric hotel with character decor; there is a masculinity in the generally black-and-white colour scheme. Check out pictures to see if you like it since I sense that it may not be for everyone (for me, rooms are way too dimly lit). Hip but a 4-star hotel at its core - so don't expect smooth quality bed linens, comfy mattresses...

We just needed to stay somewhere for a night and close to Railway station. I booked Helvetia as I visited once a roof top bar and really liked it. The hotel was simply great! A small room, but totally renovated and top clean. A set of Kiehls cosmetics was also a pleasant surprise :)

The hotel has a very nice felling to it and is situated really well next to the river in the center of the city. The only but for me very big problem was that the rooms had no proper ventilation and there for got super hot during the summer. And it was due to noise not possible to sleep with...

A report from a well-seasoned business traveller. Usual hotels I stay at in Zurich were booked, so I took a chance on this establishment for a 3 night stay. It's certainly not a directly business oriented establishment, but the rooms are great, the staff are very friendly and engaging, and provide a level of personalised service that is lacking in...

Great central location, alongside a river, with popular bar and restaurant. My room was small with not much free space, but the large windows and view made up for that. Top quality bathroom amenities, very fast free wifi, comfortable bed. Did not have a desk if you need to work and the single power point in the room was cluttered...
