This was the most delightful B&B I've ever been to, Anne & Kevin are the nicest people you could meet. They have a lovely wee whippet too which was the icing on the cake for me, I just love animals. We only got to spend one night, I didn't want to leave, I could quite happily have spent all week...

Excellent, couldn't fault it! absolutely spotless, Ann and Kevin were very friendly hosts. Beautiful gardens and surrounding area, lots of wildlife came to visit. Breakfast was lovely and had everything you could want. Gorgeous bedroom, in fact didn't want to come home! Fantastic value for money.

Had reason to stay over in Birgham for work. So glad I did. Lovely room, good sleep, beautiful location, very smart bathroom, thoughtful toiletries, fine breakfast, charming hosts and brilliant pots of tea. There was also a comfortable sitting room. Very pleasant stay.

Unable to stay at my Holiday Cottage, Babingtons Cottage near Coldstream, I had the most relaxing, peaceful and interesting stay at Fernyrig. Anne and Kevin had thought of everything and my dog, a small rescue Pekingese was very welcome and thought it was 10*. The layout was superb, the decoration lovely and Annes breakfasts were just the best. Fernyrig is...

I couldn't have had a nicer two days stay at Fernyrig Farm. Amazing breakfasts and comfortable rooms. Both Kevin and Anne are very kind and helpful, including drying my walking boots out for me! I could not recommend staying here more.

The farm is located in a very quiet place, and is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pond. The room, bathroom and sitting room reserved for guests are very elegantly yet comfortably furnished. Anne (the owner) and her husband are very nice, friendly and helpful. Eggs for breakfast were the freshest, coming directly from the farm's pen! I absolutely...

The problem with such a popular place is that much has already been said! Our welcome from Anne & Kevin was wonderful and things just got better and better. They really put themselves out, the design of their home meant that we didn't feel as though we were imposing and they encouraged us to make ourselves feel at home. The...

We stopped over on our cycle journey on the Coast and Castles route. Anne and Kevin were very helpful, the rooms are very comfortable with great views out and the breakfast was delicious. I'd recommend Fernyrig Farm to anyone riding through Coldstream.

“My lovely double room was on the ground floor with the bathroom opposite. The best thing about the bathroom was the piping hot water and the shower. Also the side door was nearby to let the dog out. Perfect layout.”
