We were delighted with everything at this hotel. Stayed 4 nights, rooms, beds and showers were fine and clean. Nice views and lounges. Lots of property for exploring, not too busy and plenty of parking. Married couple runs the pace, Mr Simon does the excellent cooking. There are other good restaurants in nearby towns. Bar open when you are ready... More

Arrived at the Chateau after a rather hot Journey from St Malo in the car , booked in and went straight in to the outdoor pool, which was brilliant. We changed for dinner and enjoyed a bottle of Champagne before thanks to my son . The owner( Chef) used to be a butcher so we had to go for the steak,which... More

We loved this place. Very nice location, surrounded by forest and countryside. Rooms were spacious and clean, with all the amenities. Breakfast was great with an adequate variation of options. Restaurant was exceptional. And mostly, the owners were extremely helpfull and kind. Will visit again !

Very comfortable and spacious room in a small chateau. Elegant communal rooms looking out onto lovely grounds and interesting stone spiral staircase up a turret to the bedrooms (and down to restaurant). Breakfast was excellent and it was nice to be offered (and have) bacon and eggs. We ate at the restaurant at the Chateau – partly because of the... More

Driving from Dordogne to Roscoff, we chose to break the journey at this beautiful chateau. it happened to be our wedding anniversary and had we set out to find a special place, we couldn't have chosen better! A warm welcome awaited us and we were shown to a beautifully appointed room, with a stunning view over the lawns and the... More

My wife, 3 year old, and I have just returned from a trip to France, including 2 nights at the delightful Domaine de la Ferriere. The hotel is a small chateau in the village of Buleon in Brittany. It sits in lovely grounds that are available for guests to enjoy. My son loved going for a walk in the woods... More

A lovely hotel set in a beautiful peaceful landscape with stream. 8-10 km from Josselin the nearest town. We spent three nights at this charming hotel, it was very peaceful, we had a lovely room on the front overlooking a stream and corn fields, breakfast was included in the nights stay, we also had dinner at their restaurant that specialises... This is our favourite restaurant in our area of Brittany. We stayed overnight several years ago, and return each time we are in Brittany as it is fairly close by our house, and I can only describe it as excellent in every way. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. The set menu in the evening is very... More

We booked at this hotel, because it appeared to have a lot of character and was well priced near Josselin. The hotel is in a lovely building in a quiet bucolic setting, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was significantly better than we had expected. I very highly recommend the stone cooked duck breast in particular. The decorating and... More
