We thought the Fox Inn was delightful. The lady behind the bar was really helpful and recommended a delicious ale to try. We sat outside on the terrace and rested our legs after a tough hill climb! We didn't stay at the hotel unfortunately, but the inn looked beautiful and the staff were great.

We decided to spend a weekend at this wonderful country inn having had a great Sunday lunch here previously. The rooms were comfortable and clean and very quiet. Delicious breakfast with a delicious selection of fresh fruit and fresh croissants. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a base for a Cotswolds break.

We live locally and on this occasion were here with friends for Sunday lunch. We had a lovely table and the food passing by looked very good. Unfortunately we had a bit of a mixed experience. To start with the positive, 3 of us had the plaice which was very tasty indeed and a good size portion so no complaints...

We knew Monday night was a slow night with not many people eating out...and the restaurant was quiet. But, even so, the staff were excellent and we never felt rushed at all. Food was great and they were happy to accommodate a dog. Would definitely return...thanks

The quality of Saturday's dinner was unquestionable. But the delay between starter and main was noticeable. Unlike the announcement of last orders at the bar. This is clearly a foodies' pub and not for drinkers. By 1030 we felt de trop and, upon asking for a glass of wine at 1110, decidedly unwanted. Fine. But at least have the courtesy...

We booked a table for dinner and were not disappointed the staff were very nice and the food served in good sized portions and very tasty. Happy to recommend this for dinner we will be back. The pub has a nice ambiance being historic with open fires that will be fantastic in the winter.

This was once my favourite restaurant to eat, but sadly no more, although the décor and quality of the food remain the same, the service is now awful. A 45 minute wait between courses is unacceptable, with no apology and just a blank stare from the staff when this was mentioned!! A change of veg was requested and when this...

This place has hit the sweet spot... it's as near to the perfect Cotswold dining experience you can get without going to a private dinner party. The team have obviously worked hard to make their brand of hospitality seem effortless. The menu is well formulated and we went for a Sunday lunch and I was actually somewhat in awe of...

I went with my wife and daughter for my 60th birthday for lunch having travelled for a hour ,the service was just not friendly, yes they did their job but no real welcome, no asking if this table was ok, and not once did they ask if food was satisfactory. It's a shame but I get the impression because so...
