Enjoyed my one night stay here. Lovely location not far from Pembroke castle. Quiet location and nice view from room window. Room very comfortable, clean and only thing to complain about was the noise coming from room next door in the early hours! Would recommend to anyone looking to explore the area or working away for business like myself.

Having stayed at Lamphey Hall Hotel a few years ago when the previous owners had it, we decided to spend a night there. When we arrived, we found our way to reception to pick up the key. The area looked dark and smelt musty. My partner had been sent an email confirming our stay and a photo of the room we were having. We got to our room which was quite small but it looked ok. It was nothing like the one we were meant to have had. Some of the lights didn’t work and the bathroom could have done with a good clean! There was black mouldy bits on the tile grouting that came off when we showered. We had food in their “bistro” that night. It was more like a greasy cafe! The chip fat was clearly old as it had a strong taste to it. The gammon was nice but the salad garnish was hardly there!! The waitress spent most of the time chatting to her mate who was sat a couple of tables away from us. The decor was black and dark blue. Not very enticing! As it has been taken over by new people, the decor has been changed. Everywhere looks cheap and tacky. To be honest, the whole place looks very run down. It was sad to see it in this state. We paid extra for breakfast which didn’t look appetising at all. There was a help yourself to cereal etc section which was mostly all covered with cling film apart from the one thing that should have been. I fancied yoghurt but since it was just sitting there unchilled and uncovered in a large bowl I gave it a miss. We ordered toast which came out cold and dry. It had obviously been made hours earlier. The waitress was dressed in a tracksuit and kept wiping her nose on the collar of her jacket! All in all, it was a very disappointing stay. Felt sad as it used to be a beautiful place to stay with character and always a warm welcome from the previous owner. Now it’s lost everything it used to have and is run by kids who haven’t got a clue! What a shame!

Evening entertainment with buffet and singers with a fire show. It was fantastic. Staff were attentive and caring and no issue was a problem, a good all round effort and we loved it. Thank you Lamphey hall

We needed a room for two adults and two children this was the only place with one available. The price was higher than we might have expected £185 reduced from £240 The room was fine, the shower room tiny , really tiny and shower cabinet inaccessible, and a trickle of a shower. Unloved prepac breakfast. Hard to recommend for accommodation but popular with diners.

Very friendly welcome, efficient check in and checkout. Short walk from the car park and one flight of stairs to our large comfortable room. We were warned that if we wanted dinner we should book for 6.30 or 8.30 as they had a large party coming for dinner. The food for breakfast and dinner was well cooked with good flavours. They were always willing to swap and change items on the menu to suit your wishes, just ask! Staff were very friendly with a sense of fun but still efficient. The room and the rest of the hotel were spotless and regular disinfection of surfaces took place. My only small gripe was having to have my first bath in 20 years. I've become used to a walk-in shower but my wife loved having the large cast iron bath with shower attachment! We chose the hotel for its location just 2 miles from Pembroke Castle and on the bus route from Tenby to Pembroke and heyond.

I have stayed here twice and been warmly welcomed and very comfortable. The rooms are lovely, well looked after and can be spacious I found the first one a little cramped, but it was the only one available when booking in on the day! The food really is excellent. I asked for scrambled eggs at breakfast, it was beautiful - the best I have ever had in a hotel, possibly excelled my own at home! I have booked two nights in nSeptember.

We booked a Sunday lunch a couple of days ago, in the Carvery. It didn’t disappoint. As well as the usual meat choices, including the beef being served rare or well done, there was a fish option that also looked delicious.. the staff were neatly turned out, helpful and friendly. Although the restaurant was incredibly busy we were served promptly and efficiently. We opted for a main and dessert. The starters looked inviting but would probably have been rather filling. We thoroughly enjoyed our desserts delicious. Well done Lamphey Hall Hotel

Visiting Freshwater East for the Bank Holiday weekend and booked over the phone for Sunday Lunch. Sunday Carvery is both really good value but fantastic quality grub. The staff whilst young are both friendly and professional. Top place for a Sunday Lunch 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We booked in here for an over night stay on 21st January 2022 and we were more than pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean the Rob and the staff can’t do enough for you even when a party of 14 for an evening meal was sprung on them at the last minute despite already being busy in the restaurant they went out of their way to accommodate us and the food was excellent if I could give More stars I would ! Brilliant stay we will be back -Thank you

So welcoming, great food, nothing too much trouble, assisted my elderly relative into a chair and offered a glass of water as she mentioned needing to take her medication, prior to eating. We didn't stay at the hotel but in self catering chalet, we called in for drinks whilst visiting friends in Lamphey, We ended up ordering food, which was really good, well presented and served by a really friendly staff member, We have driven past so many times, thinking drinks etc would be expensive, but it was on a par with other local establishments.
