Whilst visiting de Portier for dinner, we stayed here the night. We loved it. The rooms are on the first floor. The building and rooms are beautifully restored and decorated with great feel for the history of the building. The room has a very practical setup with the toilet and bathroom tucked away behind a wall at the headend of...

We stayed for one night. Big, clean and cosy room with everything you need. Only four rooms at the whole hotel so you get a great and personal service. The hotel is very well situated in this beautiful city. My best recommendations. Thanks for us.

We stayed here for one night on return from Bosch exhibition. Very clean room, well laid out ensure, soft towels( which are a rarity in Netherlands), extremely comfortable bed with good pillows. Good selection of teas and Nespresso machine, useful fridge. The breakfast was very good : excellent fruit salads, cheeses, eggs, breads yoghurt etc. Would definitely recommend and would...

We felt really at home with this hotel: with only 5 rooms they provided us with the personal care you would expect from close friends. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home-made egg-curry salad. Car could be parked in a safe parking house. Rooms, beds, shower, airco: all top quality. Tip: book in advance to ensure availability.

This small hotel, only a few rooms, is situated near the center of Nijmegen. It offers parking for the small amount of 5 euros when booking on line. The owner is very helpful. The only small problem is you have to climb at least one steep flight of steps to get to your room if you are lucky enough to...

Rooms were small but clean, layout is odd. Toilet and sink are separated by a wall so one has to walk around to the other side of the bed to wash hands. We had a street view room and it was noisy. Restaurant noise from below as well as college kids partying very loudly until 4 a.m. Balcony was vey...

Well located boutique style hotel. Nicely decorated and furnished in contemporary style although in our room the shower / basin area was open to the bedroom, some may want more privacy. The WC is in a separate compartment. Very good attentive owners, nothing is too much trouble. Good breakfast selection nicely presented. Access from the street is into a small...

Stayed here for three nights while at a workshop at the regional archives which are only a couple of minutes walk away. Front door opens onto the very steep staircase, which the proprietor will negotiate with your suitcase (thank goodness!) My room was on the 2nd floor at the front corner, looking out over the little square opposite, with a...

“We loved ours, one flight up (there are 2 on that level, 3 on the level above). I think they are all ultra clean, beautiful design, good, just know there are stairs (no elevator). The hosts help you quickly with luggage.”
