There are a number of things that make this place and staying here exceptional. The rooms are stylish, beautiful decor , spacious and very in keeping with this beautiful 17 th century house. It is five minutes walk from the river and just beyond that is an array of stylish shops and restaurants/ cafes and bars that are wonderfully atmospheric!... More

We loved our stay at this beautiful B&B. We were two couples and had both the orange and mauve rooms. everything was perfect. As others have mentioned, the stairs are very steep and narrow. Need to hold onto the handrails, so may be a concern for some. Good location, tho maybe too close to a great ice cream shop 😀

Dear TripAdvisor Travellers, this B&B in Wijck, a small part of the city centre of Maatricht, is a great B&B! It is close to the Bonnefanten Museum, and with a 10 min walk you are on the Onze Lieve Vrouweplein, in the middle of the city centre! Close to the B&B there are great restaurants and pubs, lots to do.... More

We booked this B&B in Maastricht because it was very close to the star restaurant Beluga. As we went her for dinner with 3 other couples we looked for a place were we could stay with all 8 of us and this B&B was the right spot. There are 2 large rooms with both their own shower and toilet and... More

My husband and I recently travelled from Australia and had the pleasure of staying at Au Lion d'Or for 5 nights. From the initial welcome we were made to feel at home. the rooms are generous and well appointed with beautiful antique furnishings. Lot, our hostess could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The... More

We stayed one night in Maastricht in the Orange Room which is located on the 2nd Floor (3rd floor for Americans). The B&B has been completely restored with tall ceilings, open beams, original floors and is very charming and warm. The hostess, Lot, was out of town for our arrival, but had communicated this to us and made arrangements with... More

Since I am an "Amsterdammer" by birth all other cities in the world are not as attractive as that one. Having said that: on analyzing my love for Amsterdam rationally (if there is such a thing as "analyzing your love rationally") it is the city of old buildings that are (mostly) not built for pomp but to live and work... Beautiful B&B situated in de upcoming quarter of Wyck in Maastricht. This B&B is comfortably located near the Railway Station, shops, the centre and the Museum. Its situated in a lovely street lively and with a je-ne-sais-quoi feel to it. The rooms are nicely decorated in a Burgundian style and have well appointed bathrooms. Unfortunately we only got to spend 1 night instead of 2 in this lovely place due to personal circumstances. But we had a great time. We were in the Mauve room, which is large and has a lovely modern boxspring bed. Everything is renovated so even in February when the nights were cold, we were not. The bathroom has enough... More

Great bed & breakfast in a very convenient location. Located in an old house completely refurbished by the owner, the place breaths a classic style. Having breakfast at the huge table in the kitchen is a wonderful way to start a day of exploring Maastricht.
