Clean and cozy rooms in a small village. Restaurant offers nice dish of good prepared food, this period it was game on the menu. Within Hilvarenbeek it is easy to go and visit Tilburg, Breda, the Efteling or Beekse Bergen.

Nothing was too much trouble, we requested to see one of the rooms as we will absolutely stay here next time we are in the neighbourhood. As for the food WOW!!! I would strongly recommend the Paysan Salad with the Oubli Hoorn for afters. Best food we have had in a very long time. Can't wait to return. The restaurant... More

I could not rate this place more highly. Recently visited with my father as he was returning here to his home town after 60 years. The owner and staff went out of there way to make sure the whole stay was amazing, even cooking an out of season dish for us as part of the trip down memory lane. The... More

One night stay to meet family who live locally. Parking a bit tricky as there is a 2 hour limit between 9 and 6 near hotel, you also need a blue disc to display on windscree. Bought ours in an excellent florist opposite hotel (and flowers for family!) Room a bit basic and small, but very clean and suited us... More

We stayed at the Sint Petrus for one night, whilst on a road trip in the Netherlands. The hotel is located just off the quaint town square and walking distance to several restaurants, bars and shops. As other reviewers have mentioned the rooms are small, but they are modern and tastefully decorated. We found it to be very comfortable, and... More

The place itself is wonderful. Nice and friendly staff, clean rooms (bit small perhaps) with great bathroom. The only downside is the church next door that rings it bells every 15 mins, all night long... From 8am this gets even louder and it is impossible to sleep through.

I have stayed here a number of times and it is my hotel of choice when in the Tilburg area. The Hotel is in the village centre next to the church and the village green, which has a number of restaurants around its edge. The rooms are small but fine with nice bathrooms and all are twin bedded I believe.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Herberg Sint Petrus lies in the heart of the town Hilvarenbeek, on the lively square Vrijthof. Typical hospitality, comfortable rooms and a good kitchen are merely a few of the reasons to stay at this hotel-restaurant. You’re more than welcome for a cappuccino, a (Belgian) beer, lunch and diner. A young and enthusiastic team will take care of a pleasant stay. “They only have 7 rooms. Take ear plugs. I love the sound of church bells, just not all night long. You do get used to them, but not the first night. The hotel is located right in the centre of the village right next to the church. I can't say enough nice things about the village or the people who live there. Thanks for a wonderful stay”
