We where coming from the Efteling themepark and stayed here only for one night. We had a tight schedule because of an online semnlinar in the evening but the hosts (the complete place is run by the hosts) where very supportive.

The diner we had was great, all freshly made and enough to feed a family of five! The hosts where very warm and welcoming.

The room (we had the Bedstee room) was cosy and very clean. Shower was excellent but a bit cramped for space. All in all a real nice stay!

Breakfast in the morning was lavisch with freasly baked breadrolls, croisaints and cerials. (due to corona we had a personal breakfast).

I would recommend this gem to everyone!

We stayed here for a visit of 2 nights this week. The room was very pretty and comfortable with good beds. The owners very very nice and friendly. The restaurant excellent. they went out of their way to make us something that was not on the menu even.Very nicely served. the garden was great for my grandson to play in as well

This is a good, solid, average hotel. It has three stars, the rooms are nice and clean, although small.
Nice for children: They have a trampolin in the garden and a cat that is very friendly and loves to be petted (if you're allergic to cats, this might be a downer, though).
It is only a five-minute drive to De Efteling amusement park, which sort of justifies the prices (we paid 80 € a night without breakfast). It is on the outskirts of Kaatsheuvel, with nice opportunities to take a walk right outside the front door.
Downsides: The TV did not work, but we weren't interested in TV anyways. And for my taste, the mattresses were far to soft, but that's personal taste. :)
The personnel was friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience.

This hotel is more a guest house than a hotel, run by an older couple. I arrived in the evening and was welcomed by the older lady. The room was very disappointing. It was freezing cold and did not look like the pictures. Very shabby. Mottled carpet. Dingy! The only thing that was remodeled was the shower. I did not try to guess what those brown stains were on the radiator (radiator was off), so I threw a towel over it to get it out of my sight. It smelled very musty and dingy. The bed was upstairs, it seemed as if someone already had slept in it. It was not made up tight anyway. It was very cold. In the middle of the night I looked for a blanket which was smelly. No, this accommodation is certainly not to be recommended. When I stayed there there were only old people (with bicycles). Perhaps that is why it was so smelly? I ran off next morning to get fresh air. The breakfast room was sunny and looked nice but I was glad I did not book a breakfast.

Nice small hotel convenient for Efteling theme park. Didn't sample the restaurant as it was closed on the day we were there but the local town had plenty of choices. Very quiet area bordered by farms. Rooms are quite small but have all you need for a short stay.

Fairly simple accommodations but very clean, spaceous and child-friendly. The breakfast was very good: continental, with fresh baked bread (white and whole grain), a nice choice of jams and other spreads, cheese and cold meats, and a soft boiled egg. I like the fact that this place is a family-run establishment.

We've stayed there for our wedding night and thought it looked very romantic and nostalgic. Lovely surroundings with nice areas to take a stroll through nice local natural environment. Even though we booked the room for our wedding night we were a little disappointed with the quality of the room we got. It was just a very basic and simple room, which even appeared to be messy. It was not messy in the way it wasn't cleaned up, but it all just looked messy and unorganized.
The rest of the hotel looked very nice, though, and the breakfast was delicious. Waking up early in this hotel is nice, since you can take an early morning stroll through the fields behind it.

Excellent service from the lady running the establishment very welcoming and helpful, we stayed for 3 nights and we’re not disappointed.

Parking is free but there is no A/C, the perfect spot for the perfect price and the town is a nice little place.

Felt cozy and at home, the staff maintained the room and provided excellent service. I would definitely visit again.

Nice small hotel near de Efteling theme park.

We stayed from 11 – 13 may, in room #3 (3 beds/1 bathroom), with our 4 year old girl.

LOCATION: Great location nearby de Efteling. A very peaceful residence area. Not so far a bit more than 1 km you can find a supermarket.

ROOMS: They are small, nice and clean. TV (we didn´t even turned it on).

PLAYGROUND: No playground but a very nice garden with trampoline and swings. A friendly cat, toys by the reception and a beautiful aquarium.

FOOD & Drinks: There´s an outstanding restaurant where you can spend a lot of time enjoining a delicious 3 or 4 course dinner (we did it the 2 nights)

WIFI: Great wifi.

BREAKFAST: For 10 Euros you get a good breakfast. The fresh baked, yet warm bread is to die for! Coffee, eggs, butter, jelly, chocolate paste, peanut butter, cheese, jam.

We were 3 people staying there for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We had a great Dutch breakfast. The surroundings and location is picturesque! Very beautiful. We had dinner in their restaurant and the service was superb. The food was cooked with attention to detail and taste and the quantity was great! Hartelijk bedankt voor de geweldige verblijf!
