Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

This houseboat is in a perfect location for central Amsterdam. Parking locally is outrageously priced but that's not the fault of the owners here. Once you board and get over the initial shock at the lack of cabin space you'll find that it's actually very functional. Some of the

Easy location and walk from central station either along the Prins Hendrikkade or the other side of the water and over the bridge very close to the NEMO science museum. Set in a very pleasant location with fantastic views from the upper deck where you can sit and relax, smoke

Go with realistic expectations, its a boat with 24 cabins, 3 showers and 4 toilets. As its a boat you sleep in a small cabin that has steep boat stairs potentially to get to. Cabins are small, if you travel with a suitcase this may not be ideal. Guests are asked and expected to

Fleas - make your own bed - damp bunk - one shower toilet between 20 -don’t expect the Ritz! We arrived at 1.40 hot thirsty and tired and told to wait for 20 mins. It is near the main station but bags of rubbish lined the gangplank.

Location of this boat is excellent. It is in the centre of the city, just next to the Science Museum, and very close to the Central Station. The rooms are rather small. We had one downstairs, so there was no view whatsoever. Maybe, the rooms on the top deck have some (can't be

How many toilets and showers are in the boat?
Not enough and what is there is extremely basic. I think there were two toilets (one male and female) and two showers on the floor I stayed on. No soap in the showers and the towels supplied weren't changed in the three nights I stayed there. My advice would be to get a budget hotel, the Vita Nova is an expensive hostel.

Hey! What's the best form of transport from the airport to the hotel?
Hi just get a train from the airport to Centraal Station. Come out of the station and turn left & it's abt 10 mins walk (right beside the Nemo Science Museum).
