Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

My son & I stayed in this place x 4 nights in Amsterdam. Our room was overlooking the canal. Our host Natalia and her family were exceptional host. Our flights arrived early mid morning but we were able to check in ahead of time. Natalia communicated with us from the time we arrived until check out time. There is breakfast everyday prepped by their friend Olaf. The room is clean with fresh towels everyday. Highly recommended place if you are staying in Amsterdam.

Large beautifully furnished and equipped rooms. Lovely breakfast. Great location right on the canal with a perfect view through big windows. Tram just a minute or two away. But walking distance to everywhere in the center if you want. Staff and owners so attentive and helpful.

We recently stayed here for five nights and can honestly say this is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we made welcome by Juana who looked after wonderfully all week as well as the owner Natalya. The breakfast has a great selection and the room overlooks the canals. The location is perfect enabling you to walk to all of the cities attractions but is far enough from the main road not to be too noisy. If you are going to Amsterdam and this place is available, book it, you won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful B&B! Not only the best location with rooms overlooking one of the canals, but the room is spacious, beautiful, and comfortable! The breakfasts are all you need to get a good start to the day. The owners are more than happy to be of help with anything you need and have questions about. You won't be sorry!! They have a B&B in Provence as well, and that will be on our bucket list!

This was our 1st trip to Amsterdam and the Keizershouse was the perfect place to stay to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The Tram is a block away, and there are tons of restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. The Museumplein is a short walk one direction, the Flower Market is right around the corner, and the Anne Frank House and Red Light District a slightly longer walk the other direction. For movie fans, the bench made famous in the movie "The Fault in our Stars" can be seen directly from the rooms by looking on the left straight down the canal connecting the Keizersgracht with the Herengracht. Our hosts were simply splendid, serving up a great breakfast every day and packing us a "to go" breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early to catch a train. Just a super-duper place to stay!

Oh my word. How incredible is this establishment. We were welcomed like family on arrival hot and sweaty from a long walk. Our room was stunning, beautifully decorated, huge and overlooking the canal. The bed was extremely comfy and the bathroom was to die for. There is a fully equipped Kitchenette in the room which was a lovely surprise and the fridge was stocked with beer and soft drinks all included in the room rate. Personal touches such as travel plugs provided really made us feel special. There are only 2 rooms so it's like having your own house. You are given a key and told to come and go as you please and make yourself at home. We had breakfast with the other couple who were staying there unbeknownst to us as it was so peaceful. Breakfast was served by an absolutely delightful lady who made is all feel at ease with one and other and brought the conversation to life. I cannot wait to stay here again it's beautiful in every way.

The location is wonderful - right on one of the best "inner" canals - we found we could walk to just about every location of interest in the central part of the city. Despite being central we also found it to be quiet - though it was not the busiest time of year. The house is a very typical Amsterdam house. The facilities in the house are excellent. We were looked after like royalty too. The breakfasts are comprehensive - a great range including freshly cooked eggs to order - and delicious. Overall we can highly recommend the Keizershouse - even if, selfishly, we would like to be our secret!

It’s like coming home to an amazing view over the canals in a pittoresque but still very modern suite. Wonderful staff that made you feel like you were part of the family. Fruit and snacks were free of charge and they filled up with more everyday. This is a pearl in Amsterdam with the best location in town. I will recommend it to everyone.

Very good B&B! very central and within walking distance to the central. The hostess was accommodating and tried to the best for the 3 of us. We've been there with a 1 year 5 month old baby and she provided also baby food for breakfast. No kids beds are available but the it was good enough for us.

If you've found this place and it's available don't hesitate book it quick, it is the place to go to in Amsterdam Perfect hosts who are extremely experienced in looking after guests and work hard to make your stay memorable and trouble free A charming and friendly couple who will add local knowledge and information to your stay Spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could want for Breakfast was magnificent with an extensive choice and there's the option to self cater thereafter too but there's a whole range of tempting quality eateries nearby Being able to lay on the very comfy bed watching canal life unfold was a superb experience, situated on a canal junction there was plenty of activity to entertain on the water and footpaths, from the window 7 of Amsterdam's famous bridges are visible This is a 17th century house that has been sympathetically renovated to an exceptionally high standard so you really do get the best experience of originality with modern day comforts. The winding stairs and enormous windows bring character alongside a high quality kitchenette and being able to soak in a spa bath at the end of a busy day The main city attractions are all within walking distance and you don't have to follow the same route every day as you really are situated in the centre of things. The tram routes and main roads are close but far enough away so as not to disturb - perfect location Nataliya and Maurice really did make it feel like we were staying at friends - THANK YOU
