Beautiful 16th-century canal house in the centre of Amsterdam. Overlooking one of the most beautiful canals and close to all attractions. The canal house is still equipped with many original details. On the ground floor: entrance hall with marble floor, access to kitchen and courtyard. The first floor is accessible via an oak staircase. There you will find the living room with an open fireplace and a high chimney, TV and a dining room with a magnificent view over the canal. On the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floor you will have a total of seven rooms, a bathroom with bath and toilet, three bathrooms with showers and 3 toilets. The basement has an extra toilet and storage place.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

We stayed for 3 nights in the suite for 4 people on the second floor and had a very pleasant experience. Excellent value for the price. This is a family-operated small business and you get a unique opportunity to stay in a traditional dutch house. How can you beat that? Our

We saw all the awful reviews AFTER making reservations. We have been trying to call every day at different times- for 12 days. NO RESPONSE. How are we supposed to get into our room if no one answers. We have no email address. Now we are stuck risking not having a place to stay

WOW is all i have to say about this place, the room we stayed in was not listed or pictured on any of the 4 sites I have looked at. After checking out we realized the space had not lived up to what was listed. We didn’t want to focus on this because we were loving out trip

We had a nice experience at the B&B, We stayed for two nights and everything was good.We liked our 2 room bedroom and the quaint building. A B&B should have included breakfast, though, and the price breakfast cost was too high. I read the last 3 reviews for the B&B and was

This was a B&B without a breakfast! (If you don't pay extra for it) The day before our arrival we received a message from the owner saying that since we did not replay to his email for the check in.... (mail NEVER arrived) we had to check in only between 1-3 p.m. Luckily this

Hello, We have arrived to Amsterdam by train to Central Station, so I can explain you how to get there from Central Station by foot (i's only 700 meters to walk, it takes 20 minutes with luggage and kids). Coming out of the station hall you should go to the left, cross the bus station and come out on the Prins Hendrikkade street at the traffic light. You have to follow this street for some 500 meters then you will see the Kalkmarkt street on your right side. De Baronie is situated just around the corner. Their Address is: 2 Kalkmarkt st., Amsterdam. Their phone is +31-6-23356332. Have a great time! Lior

"Suites are great."
"Don't book this apartment."
"Take smaller bags for easy carry up the stairs!!"
"Note: in the room leads a narrow circular staircase and it is almost impossible to raise large bags. Check the issue with B&B when you order in case you arrive for a long period and need all your stuff upstairs. (We left out our luggage in the lobby and took upstairs only bags and trolls with the necessary for accommodation stuff.)"
"Room is located on a complete floor with a nice canal - and noisy street- at the front and a quiet innerplace at the back."
