I stayed at Via Amsterdam hostel for four nights in August. As compared to all the hostels l have stayed at, this is so far the best in terms of cooperative staff and liveliness. Do not think twice before booking here. :)

This felt much nicer that your normal hostel. Staff have been super helpful to me. They gave me have a free convertor when I told them I lost mine. They have printed paper for me for free, have stored my bags for free.
I stayed four nights at the Via during a convention. The rooms are very plain but clean and the internet is reasonably good. The maid came each day and provided towels and cleaned the toilet but did not make the bed. The place is full...More
Location is just a little outside the center of the city. Hip, modern hostel/hotel. Liked everything, except the fact, that the window is not made to be opened and the bed was moving apart from my husbands.
