Walking is definitely a nice way to explore the city and the neighboring area - however the options worthwhile to consider are as well; the tram line 5, departing just at the corner of the hotel and taking you via the Museumsquare, Rijksmuseum, to the Leidseplein and through the Jordaan area or the so called super fast "North - South line", metro line 52 taking you in 10 minutes to reach the center of Amsterdam. Should you wish a typical dutch way of transport; we have bikes available to cycle around and explore Amsterdam.     Wonderful weekend with beautiful people in an outstanding hotel

    Hello there is a service offered only by the Hotel. If your up for a walk there is a laundromat called 'Easy Laundry' 25min walk from Hotel just google it. Iam sure a Tram would run close, if not a lot to wash take the bikes for rent at hotel, Laundry would even be an adventure in Amsterdam. Hope this helps :)

    Can someone tell me how far is Heineken Experience and the other shopping areas and the party places ?
    Hello, the Heineken experience and the other interesting places in the center of Amsterdam are about 2 Km (1.4 miles) of the Citizen M Hotel. Me and my wife have walked every day this distance and it was no problem, you also can use the bicycles of the hotel. It was a really nice experience. Good journey. Diamantino Santos
