This was our second visit to Amsterdam and could not have been more different from the first. Did not enjoy the initial stay, at a hotel and as part of a bus tour. Was determined to give the city a second chance however and so glad we did as Rene's houseboat was a fantastic experience and quite a contrast. He...

Found this place on the net its a fab place to stay to say the least Every morning there is a box left outside your door. Bread. Yogurt. Grapes smoothly. Just great to start your day. It's a 10 min bike ride from the centre of town but don't let this put you off. This part of town is vibrant...

What a pleasure it was to stay here! When they say fully equipped... it is exactly that. Even a very needed iron and ironing board, stunning coffee machine and a lovely fresh breakfast delivered to your door every morning! Comfortable, affordable with a most relaxing feel. Why settle for a hotel, if you can have all of this. A little...

The house boat was a perfect place for my husband and me to stay. The owner is extremely nice and very helpful. He even drove us to the train station on our last day. There is plenty of food for breakfast (we had enough leftover to make ourselves a lunch). The bed is comfortable and the house boat offers plenty...

I loved the way the quaint space was designed as it has everything you need for a week's stay. Rene, the host, was so gracious and accommodating. The bed was super comfy and very large (King in North American standards!) I loved that. But my favourite part was my morning ritual of feeding the ducks and swans out of the...

We stayed at the Bed Breakfast Boat for 8 days. Rene is very accomodating, we had to arrive a day before the room was ready, but Rene provided alternate accomodation for us. The room/studio apartment is fully self-contained and Rene leaves a container filled with breakfast items outside your door every morning. It was always more than we could eat....

The boat was surprisingly cozy, equipped with all the needed furniture and this all for a quite reasonable rate. It's not far from the center, especially by bike you are there in no time; The possibility to additionally rent bikes from René was very convenient. The breakfast was nice. René is a welcoming, friendly host and we could handle everything...

Nothing was too much trouble for Rene -our flight was delayed and he stayed in the boat until we had arrived safely carefully giving explanations on how to use the facilities. Breakfast was delivered each morning - beautiful. The location is perfect - a short tram ride, cycling or bus journey to many buzzing locations. It was lovely to return to...
