We have travele to Amsterdam a hllf dozen times. After finding the Frederick Park House we have always stayed there. Our prior stays were at the Pulitzer Hotel which is nice but pales in comparison. Martin and Frans are wonderful hosts. Warm and welcoming plus great daily recommendations. Their restaurant recommendations are always great. The hotel is very quiet, rooms...

A special place. This is a terrific option. First of all everything is lovely. The buildings. The rooms, the halls, the terraces and the hosts, Martin and Franz. We stayed in the spacious top room which had a separate sleeping loft and private balcony. Every morning an amazing picnic basket full of delicious breakfast appeared at our door. For our...

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at Frederik Park House. We procrastinated booking our Amsterdam hotel, but boy did we luck out when this one was still available! The room was great, it was big, had ample storage, and a nice shower. Furthermore, this was the most comfortable bed we slept on during our trip to Europe! It...

My husband & I stayed here for 4 nights in August. The Frederik Park House is conveniently located, just steps away from the tram stop. We walked to the museums and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. We were in the Grand Room which was very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable, with leather chairs for TV viewing, and...

We stayed for a week in August on the top floor. The only bad thing about the Frederik Park House is that eventually we had to go home. We can't wait to return to beautiful Amsterdam, but will only come when there is a room available at the Frederik. Staying anywhere else would just be a letdown. Martin and Frans,...

Well located on main tramline into central Amsterdam and within a short walk to Museumplein, this friendly hotel is a real find. Don't be fooled by any external photos of this hotel as it what lies within that makes it so special. The house is decorated to the highest standard throughout and we were allocated a family room of large...

This is a lovely place to stay - we had a beautiful room up in the eaves with a balcony overlooking the rooftops... Martin is an excellent host, providing a warm welcome, and excellent breakfasts in a massive basket delivered to your room. Best of all, he provides personalised tips to help you get the most out of this brilliant...
