I have just returned from an amazing stay at the Hoxton Amsterdam. I have stayed at the Hoxton Holborn before, so knew what to expect, but at the Hoxton Amsterdam nothing was too much for the staff. I contacted the hotel in advance to try and find out about a cinema booking. Mark, one of the hotels receptionists provided me...

I have been to Amsterdam a few times on stag do's and football tours. This time my wife organised the trip and decided on staying at the Hoxton. I was not impressed at paying over the odds for a nice hotel, but she insisted she wanted somewhere nice to come back to after a long day looking at the sights....

The entrance / lobby / lounge / restaurant area is very homy, nice, friendly and inviting. Healthy breakfast is served at the door (yogurt, banana and fresh juice). This can be supplemented by going to the breakfast area. Overall, highly recommended.

We stayed here due to a cancelled flight. Really helpful staff and cool bar - v similar to Holborn and Hoxton. But..... Microscopic rooms - only one of you can get out of bed at a time. Lot's of noise from the corridor and from outside. If you're not here to party, you might want to think twice.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Hoxton this weekend. Our room was on the top floor with great views down across the canals. The bed was really comfy, great decor in the room and bathroom. Service was good too, always someone around to help out or give advice on where to go etc. We can't wait to come back.

Thank you to the Hoxton team for remembering my birthday. Birthday baloon and beers left in the room. Really lovely touch. Big bed room, buzzing bar, ideal bagged simple breakfast, friendly, top check in reception staff, mega fast taxi booking, good coffee and wine. Only negative was the bar/lounge drinks service. Slow, one no show so needed to re-order, seemed...

I came here with my boyfriend and mother who came for a short visit. The minute she got here she came down with a really bad flu. We had to call a doctor on a Friday night and the doctor came in 30 minutes, she was nice and kind, told my mom she has to take antibiotics and she can't...

The Hoxton is a very lively and young hotel situated on the canal, the beds are the best I have experienced in a 4* hotel in Amsterdam but the operations of the hotel are a little scandalous, very rough in replying, no organization on front office (room not ready at 7pm), no breakfast service in the room despite an order...

We had a brilliant two night stay at The Hoxton. All of the staff were very welcoming, especially the waitresses in the restaurant. The hotel had a very relaxed feel to it and the lounge area was perfect for escaping the snow and chilling out for an afternoon. The only downside was when we left a sign on the door...
