Bed on the first night rm 305 lumpy and way too soft. Room 409 for the rest of the stay was very good. Cleanliness-Good Location - Excellent Sheets and bedding - Clean This is a very well run hotel. It is an old building so the lift only went to a certain floor and thereafter you had to take your...

Recently stayed at this hotel for three nights. From the Airport its a simple Train and Tram journey to a few yards from the front door of the hotel. The hotel is ideally located near to lots of bars, restaurants etc. and a 15/20 minutes stroll from Dam square. We were pleasantly surprised by the bedroom 203 I think, which...

Stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and upgraded to a canal view room for €20 a night. You probably wouldn't bother normally if all you want is a room to sleep in but as it was an occasion, we thought it worth it. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The breakfast room is worth the cost (€15)...

Had a nice stay here. Location is great, near everything, tram stop right in front of the hotel and bus stop to the airport is 2 minutes away. For the shopaholics, there are some great stores nearby. Breakfast was good. The staff was very nice and welcoming.

My partner and I visited dikker and thijs hotel as part of a bday trip to the city. The hotel is located in a trendy part of the city a short walk away from many of Amsterdam's attractions. The hotel was easy to find as it was on both a bus and tram route from the centre. We were greeted...

Stayed 3 nights. I rate this as a 3 star hotel. Carpet & room are a bit "dated" but very adequate. My room (106) had a great view of the canal and was surprisingly quiet considering this is a fairly busy location. That being said my friend were in a room overlooking the main street and the partying outside kept...

This hotel fitted the bill perfectly finished off with very friendly front of house staff. Loads of eating options in the vicinity and a tram stop to everywhere...

Perfect location and a lovely hotel, although I do think £300 for two nights for two adults and a child is a bit steep for a bed, the rooms were nice though and the staff very helpful and knowledgeable, make sure you use your air con as can't complain about being cold, heating was on all the time and rooms...

The location is excellent. You can easily reach the place with public transportation (from Schipol it takes less than 30min., from Centraal Station app. 10min). All interesting places are actually in a walking distance (van Gogh, Rijks - app. 10 min. Dam app. 15min) and if you would like to party the best clubs are within 5min walk. The room...
