The Renaissance brand is always a sure bet in any location, but the Renaissance Amsterdam is one of the best! First, the location was even better than we could have hoped for. Aside from being a two-minute walk from Central Station, the hotel is situated on a quiet alley which makes it somewhat private (unlike other hotels across from CS...

Spent a weekend here and found the hotel to be centrally located, good amenities, excellent sleep quality, decent sized rooms, and pretty quiet. But my favorite thing was the splendid concierge service! They went out of the way to accommodate our needs and point us in just the right direction to gain the most out of our brief visit. I...

I stay here at least a couple of times a months and am a Marriott Platinum member. I generally stay as the staff are friendly and efficient and the exec lounge is good. This stay (2 nights) I was given a very small room (442) and was awake for a couple of hours as lots of noise from outside. My...

We spend 3 days in Amsterdam and stayed at this hotel. We liked it. Very comfy, staff was helpful. Walking distance to places we wanted to visit. Their breakfast was good. We stopped to have drinks at the bar also and the bartender was friendly and made good cocktails. I would return to this hotel

This is our repeat visit to the city, we chose this hotel for it's central location and the availability of junior suite for family's accommodation. The suite was spacious, with top of the range amenities (especially the coffee maker) with most comfortable bed and sofa bed. We were delighted with the welcome gift (the boxes of chocolates and nuts) awaiting...

Great location. Friendly, fast and smart concierge staff. Check-in had several people ahead of us, but we were only in line for a couple of minutes. Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
