I was there on a business trip and had a great experience with all of the staff at the hotel. I forgot my electric converter and I called down and they happily brought one up to my room. I couldn't figure out how to configure the converter and I called and a person come up to my room to assist...

I arrived tired and began practising my Dutch at reception. It's been a while, but I am fluent and love to get the chance to speak it again when I get over a couple of times a year. After about 10 minutes of my chatting away the lady on reception was obviously not happy and eventually told me she didn't...

I have stayed in this hotel on three ocassions now and feel comfortable giving a review. The rooms as expected are upto the Renaissance standard although a bit of external noise enters the rooms. Great fitness centre and the hotel is very well located to see the centre of the city. The restaurant however is disappointing. Each time I have...

The Renaissance is situated in a great location not far from the central station , tram lines to the museum quarter and an easy walk to the Dam. Also Ann Franks house not far away. Rooms are ok but make sure to ask for a quiet room so you get one towards the rear or facing inwards. Our room had...

Definitely a five star hotel with one or two drawbacks. Breakfast very expensive and also lukewarm. Bacon overdone, crispy and cold along with cold sausages. Doesn't warrant 29 euros. Staff first class. Hygiene and comfort excellent. Walls a bit thin, hence the earplugs that are provided. Would definitely stay here again but without breakfast

Couldn't fault this hotel from the moment I stepped foot through the door until I left. It is well presented throughout and has a nice cocktail bar and restaurant. The rooms are a decent size, well finished and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the place looking 5 star. My hotel of choice when I...

Stayed here last weekend with my wife and 2 friends. We arrived at the hotel mid morning on Saturday to check in .. we were told that if we wanted to upgrade we could €55 a room which a few benefits but if we wanted to wait for our rooms it would be 1500 before they would be ready .....

The hotel was great located. Super clean and service was good. Staff was helpful. The only thing I would say is that is not a 5 star hotel, the breakfasts buffet is expensive and also the wifi charges are too much

I stayed in late November 2016. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was adequate. The room did have an odd smell though, like the inside of an old shoe. The walls are thin as well, they put earplugs in your room. High speed internet was only 1.5 - 2 Mbps. I had breakfast on...

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away.
