Hotel centrally located to many tourist attractions. Reception staff helpful. Rooms clean and serviceable. Free wifi useful. Hotel restaurant mediocre, preferred to eat out; many restaurant choices nearby and walkable. Overall good location as a base. Whatever the season Amsterdam has something for everyone...

The rooms are really small, but totaly worth their price. They are clean and homey. Quite enough for few days stay. We had some trouble with the water covering the whole bathroom floor after shower, but nothing few towels can't slove. The breakfast at the hoter is really nice and it takes place at the restaurant which is really pretty....

Really nice dinners in Amsterdam, polite waiters and beautiful interiors. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the deserts. Even the place is perfect. The prices were O.K. And you get a very pretty pen there(-:

An already expensive hotel decides to KEEP my EUR 75 pound deposit, after a week of waiting after checkout, reception confirmed deposit will take 3-4 working days (first excuse), 2 weeks later they confirm they have called their credit company and "released" the money (second excuse). After over a month of waiting, hotel refuse to credit back to my account...

Stayed here from 28th-30th December with my partner. When we arrived in Amsterdam we was quite early. We read on our booking confirmation that check in was from 2:00pm onwards. We arrived at around 12:00pm and was going to check in and leave our bags and come back when our room was ready but to our surprise our room was...

Nice bathroom, cozy room (a little small but I don't care) and a great price. This hotel was awesome. Right across the street from the fantastic Royal Palace and just a 15 minute walk away from all the big museums this place was a steal. Plus a good central location and easy access to a lot of great restaurants made...

This hotel had extremely small rooms, but that is typical of Europe. The bathroom, in particular, was exceptionally small. The location however was great; close to everything downtown with a great view of the hustle and bustle of the city from the restaurant tables. Service was very friendly. We were able to use their computers and printer at no additional...

Stayed here for just one night. Great location (near to both Station and city centre). Able to check-in early and very friendly and courteous staff. Room - all good, but would have liked an iron/board which wasn't in the room. Restaurant staff very good.

Hotel is in an ideal location for visiting Amsterdam, we stayed in an superior room overlooking the de Bijenkorf department store that was decorated for Christmas which made our trip all the romantic. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We dined in the restaurant several times and found the food and service to be first...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
