The staff was friendly, accommodating and simply superb! Also, the open bar, wine and cheese social and the included breakfast were fabulous. We would highly recommend Banks Mansion to anyone traveling to Amsterdam.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. The all inclusive policy is a pleasure. Comfortable beds and linen. Good bathroom. Good wifi. I stayed two nights on business and when in Amsterdam again, I will definitely stay at the Banks Mansion again.

There are different possibilities to get from the airport to our hotel:
1. Airport shuttle by Connexxion, you will find the Connexxion desk in arrival hall number 4, Schiphol Plaza. Please hand them the address of the hotel. The ticket will cost you € 17,- for a one way ticket and €27,- for a round trip ticket. The shuttle bus makes several stops at other hotels. The ride will take 35-45 minutes. You can find the information on the following website: schipholhotelshuttle dot nl.
2. Public transport, take the train towards Central Station (underneath the arrival hall at the airport). A train to the Central Station will leave every 20 minutes. A one way ticket will cost approximately € 4. Please take tram number 24 from Central Station and exit the tram at the 3rd stop ‘Muntplein’. If you walk in the direction where the tramline continues, you will find the Vijzelstraat. You will find the hotel at the first canal on the corner of the Herengracht and the Vijzelstraat. The train ride is 15 minutes, the tram ride 10 minutes.
3. A taxi will be around the € 50- € 60, you can just pick up one from the taxi rank outside the arrivals building. The taxi ride will take 20-30 minutes.
4. We are able to arrange a private pick-up for you. Our driver will then be waiting for you at the gate with a name sign. The costs for this will be €75,-. Please send us an email if we can arrange this for you. (we are not allowed to put our email here, but please visit our website for the email).

We walked to the Van Gogh museum and the Anne Frank house. We had a canal view and it was extra. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. One of the nicest hotel stays we've had.

I would ask hotel to make all arrangements. They are very helpful and they can get the best rates. We loved the hotel and staff. It's also possible our cruise director can help.
