I booked this hotel last minute and by last minute I mean 10 minutes before checking in! The private room my boyfriend booked was really bad so I looked online and found a room at The Concert Hotel. The staff were very friendly and we checked into the room right away. The hotel is very clean, warm and a friendly/homely...

Pretty good hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and modern looking. Just in front of the hotel the tram passes so it's very easy to get to anywhere. Staff were really good too. Dnt know about the food they offer as I didn't eat there.

I stayed here one night and booked a single room. The room was right on the front on the main road. The window is a single pane thus you hear everything from the street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room itself could do with a vacuum or three as it was very dusty. The walls...

The hotel is really nice in a great area, close to Heineken Experience area. It's easy to go to/from Centraal Station and is a nice area. The beds are really comfy and the shower is amazingly good. The only thing is that there is no box in the bathroom so it gets all wet. The staff is nice and breakfast...

Great position near Museumplein easily accessible by tram or bus. Very friendly staff. Nice room. Modest breakfast but delicious pancakes! When they were available. Sadly in 5 days only 3 of them. I recomend it specialy because of its position. There are many restaurants nearby to have dinner or lunch. 5 minute walk to the Van Gogh museum.

So I've actually extended my stay there because it was so good. Tons of space nice top class clean rooms with everything close! This place was awesome! A tip is to rent a room there because it's cheaper. Try it for 1 day be amazed and then extend to a week is what I would do if I were you...

I stayed at the Concert Hotel Jan. 29-31, 2016. The room was a single with just enough space to place a bag or two and walk in-between the furniture. I loved the angle in the room. An adorable bay window on a quiet street. (Except late at night on the weekends as the drunk neighbors poured their way home :)....

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
