The staff here was incredible! They were genuine and accommodating. The front desk people went beyond all expectations. The sous chef/bartender was attentive and personable. The wine selection was extensive and the coffee delicious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. So happy to have found this hotel!

Great location with instant access to restaurants, Bars and Trams. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was peaceful in the evening. Minimal street noise and guests respectfully quiet. The room had a large double bed and good ensuite facilities. Clean and comfy. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam

I am staying in The Albus because within my business trip. We've got nice cards and welcome drinks when we arriived. Super nice! It is a memorable experience. The rooms are spacious, pure clean, comfortable and well designed. Gorgeous! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great long stay. Having extras for me is important. Sometimes asking too much. Housekeeping staff are wonderful and helpfull. We are having great cleaning service. The team at the reception and the bar are very friendly and focused on ensuring for a wonderful stay. Bed are comfortable showers are open and spacious. If you need anything extra just ask staff not everything as a standard is in the room but they will provide for you asap. All we need we are having. If the purpose is short business trip, tourism or long term stay - it serves all needs. Higly recommended. Hope to come back soon…

We stayed in the hotel more then one week. We really enjoy our stay. Staff on reception was really helpful. What was the most important for us that our room was super clean. Daily cleaning service was amazing. I think we had through whole our stay different kind of cleaners. They were perfect and helpful even I asked for extra shampoos, coffees an extra towels. I need always extra towels. :) We arranged this with HSK manager to have these extra every day in a certain time. Even small details with cleaning and presentation in our room was 100% done. I reat about previous reviews about size of the room. For us was amazing. We parked our car in garages with discount what was arranged from hotel. On reception I took as well one book about Amsterdam to search for interesting places Holland. We had breakfasts in Senses. Hotel is situated in city center everything was closed by. The best was Rijksmusem. Can just recommend it. We asked for late check out. We payed extra for that. But our flight was super late so we enjoyed last moments to rest in the hotel. The Albus is my go-to hotel in Amsterdam. It is easily accessible from Central station by walking or tram in a busy area with lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff goes out of their way to make me feel welcome and make recommendations.

The hotel left a good impression. The room was clean. Good breakfasts to suit all tastes. Lovely restaurant which should be booked in advance . Location is beyond any criticism. Theatres, museums and boutiques within walking distance.

Nice central location hotel, accessible for transport links, lots of places to eat and places of interest short walk or tram ride away. Only issues room floor cold and needed a rug. Aesthetics in room very bland. Setting the heating was a challenge at first. Room 210 no view. No usb or c ports to charge phones or devices. Shower water gets everywhere. Some staff genuinely welcoming others came across not sincere. But I like Amsterdam ❤️

on arriving our room was not ready so we had a seat in the lounge area and were given a complimentary glass of cava - lovely ! The hotel is in a great location. Midway between museum district and town centre. However, breakfast was not included in our room rate and we were appalled to find out it was 26 euro EACH ! for not a very good breakfast. Also, we stayed 3 nights and our room was not cleaned/serviced once. We did not have 'fluffy bathrobes' or a designer bathroom. The beds were comfortable though.

My husband and I stayed here at the tail end of our 3-week European honeymoon and it was easily the best place we stayed our entire trip. Our room was one of the Spacious City Suites and it was everything we needed and more. The room was clean, comfortable, and of course spacious! It was one of the few rooms with a tub in the bathroom and after a long day of Amsterdam walking, I was so grateful we had it! The staff were great too! Very friendly and helpful! When we arrived, I was out of breath from lugging our luggage there and was immediately offered water. A thoughtful gesture that was really appreciated and it echoed the attention to detail we felt throughout our stay. Thanks so much for the great stay! Can't wait to come back for our anniversary!
