Lovely hotel on the side of the canal perfect location to walk to many attractions, bar and restaurants. Only 20 min from Central station (walk) Rooms very nice but on the small side, however always out so didn't matter. The only thing was the hotel maybe due to age was the walls and windows didn't appear to be sound proofed,...

We stayed at hotel Nes for 1 night on a short trip to Amsterdam. Check in was easy although there was a 5 euro service charge on top of the 120 euro reserved through booking.com which i wasnt expecting. I dont know if that was perhaps because i paid by debit card and not cash?? We had room 404 which...

Stayed here for one night. Clean hotel with lovely views of the canal. Situated just behind Rembrandt square, so it's away from the busy streets and noise, but close enough you can walk to all the tourist hot spots. 5 minute walk from a tram stop so getting there from the station is easy. Reasonably priced for a city centre...

Perfect location, in the heart of Amsterda m. Clean, with excellent service and elevator! Very decent breakfast, value for money. Our room was clean but not very spacious. We had a wonderful stay. We'll visit you again! Strongly recommended.

There was black mold on bathroom walls, tile edges, that could have been easily cleaned. Stains on bedroom walls suggest the travellers are not very clean, and staff don't fix it. The late night noise from other rooms confirms it is a party place - but priced like a nice hotel. Kettle but no cup, or tea/coffee. I stayed here...

Very friendly hotel right in the middle of everything, all the shops near by and you can walk to all the sites. The rooms all have private ensuite and they serve breakfast. I beleive they even have appartments if you want to stay longer

This hotel offers exactly what you would expect for the price. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is reasonably varied and there is a small but pleasant lounge. Standard rooms are a bit on the small side bit perfectly acceptable with good bathrooms.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
