The hotel was incredibly clean and modern. Room was nicely decorated and serviced timely each day. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Location was fantastic for exploring the city. The price was excellent for a hotel in the city centre. I...More
Truly enjoyed the Singel Hotel and do not quite understand why it isn't a 4 star property! We had a beautiful room overlooking the canal for our one week stay. The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful! The location is on the Singel Canal...More

Located on the Canal, 7 min walk to Royal Palace and any other central attractions, this place is completely re-done inside, very clean and very comfortable, has elevators. Front desk is polite and helpful.
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Sorry. And sorry for the late reply! Not as far as I know, you would need to ask direct, but train journey from Schipol to Centraal station is a piece of cake then it's literally 3 minutes on foot if that helps.
