We arrived in Amsterdam without a booking and decided to go with a hotel that had an "i" an "e" and a "u" in its name, as you do! We arrived at the Euphemia and our initial impression was that we should have gone with one with an "o" in the name. When we first entered the Euphemia we were...

Stayed here for two nights over the weekend. Its located no more than 15min walk from the main areas. There is a metro stop right outside the hotel and the metro trains are every 5 mins. Didn't find the hostel too busy and it was never noisy. The rooms were okay, clean but good for a hostel. Had to pay...

We have made a booking and for emergency reason had to cancel it in 4 minutes. And by emergency I mean a family member in the hospital. The manager, who I called and tried to reason with was extremely rude and so non-understanding. Rules are obviously important but life is full unpleasant surprise and exceptions.I think I never spoke to...

We used the hostel part of the hotel and overall it was a good experience. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. It was a bit cramped for 10 people, but they had an extra sink in the room which was nice. It is located right next to the tram stop as well and was decently priced. It doesn't have a...

A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and admittingly i was apprehensive coming to a hostel but Euphemia hotel surprised me! From the moment we came in staff were extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. All the other guests were warm and welcoming, helped us with our suitcases and chatted to us. We had a private double bedroom and...

The hostel common area closes early at 11pm and there is no guest kitchen, making it difficult to meet other travellers. The hostel rooms were very basic and I noticed that the rooms were not cleaned everyday - and a bathroom shared by ten people gets dirty fast. The city centre was about a 20 minute walk away and the...

Euphemia is actually a monastery converted to a hotel. Stay here was ok. Very basic, but clean and neat rooms. I stayed in a 4 in 1 dorm with a private bathroom. Beds were comfy and bathroom was tiny but clean. Breakfast is provided against payment of 5-8 Euros. It's better to skip breakfast at the hotel, since it's over...

“This hotel is in the budget range so the rooms are basic but very functional and comfortable. As a single 60 yo woman I had a double room with ensuite which suited me perfectly. Good electronic security lock on the room and front doors.”

“The guys on reception are fantastic and gave me very good suggestions where to go after we had done the Gogh, Anne Frank House etc. We had a room at the back. Number 22, a triple, on the second floor - no lift. A room to sleep and shower in. Very good wifi in the room, very fast connection and no buffering.”
