My girlfriend and I stayed at the Belfort from January 28th until the 31st as we received it as a Christmas present from family. We were sceptical at first after reading the reviews online and it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing hotel to look at but the actual rooms are ideal for what we needed and we had next to...

This hotel is absolutely disgusting, thats if you can even call it a hotel. It was mine and my boyfriends first trip to Amsterdam, and I can hands down say that this hotel ruined the start of our holiday. The Belfort Hotel is a health hazard, the rooms are riddled with mould and rotting wood. There wasn't an inch of...

From reading the reviews I was expecting something from a horror movie. We got one of the newly refurbed roof (thankfully). The room was done up to a nice standard, cleaned daily. The bathroom was a bit of a nightmare as its also a shower room, the water did not seem to drain fast enough causing the bathroom floor to...

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights in November and the hotel was adequate. It takes 20 minutes to get to this hotel from central Amsterdam, but we never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a tram - excellent service! The hotel looks like a tower block from the outside, so look out for that when...

After reading reviews we were very worried about staying here however when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel had a clean bleach smell which is always a good thing. We were in room 103 & 104 which looked as though they had just recently been renovated and immaculately clean! Couldn't complain atall for the money we paid to...

do not be fooled by the pictures looks nothing like this. the rooms are disgusting! could seriously do with decorating as location is spot on!! this hotel is so run down, need to invest in getting the place done up. the tram station is literally beside the hotel and takes about 10mins to get into the central. Unbelievably dissapointing. The rooms are dirty, the "hotel" is basically two floors The reality does not match with the pictures. The breakfast is very limited. A good point is the staff. I was really dissapointed.
