Excellent reception on arrival, all staff are extremely friendly. Hotel very clean, organized and cozy, but not valid for people with restrictions of mobility. In the loby has a very tasty coffee, free at any time of day. A good breakfast already included in the price. The room is small but extremely comfortable. Excellent cost benefit.

The staircase as you arrive is surprisingly steep, but you soon get fit and in any case the delightful hotel staff rush down to help you with your luggage. The rooms were well kitted out, with nice neat bathrooms and good showers. Storage space is a bit limited, but for a city break that isn't too serious. Wifi is standard....

I stayed there alone in Feb 2017 for a tech show in Amsterdam. It is a nice hotel and I enjoyed it a lot. Individual rooms are cozy but small. Reception people are very welcome and they offer you a drink once you arrive to take a small rest. However, it is important to say that entrance is very complex...

Great central location. Beautiful old building, but recently refurbed inside making it a very comfortable stay. Breakfast served in a lovely airy room with a balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our first time in this hotel—and we'll definitely be back! Rooms are small but clean and well appointed. The staff was incredible-- friendly and helpful—and the light, open ambience of the lounge and dining area were wonderful. The stairs are steep, but good exercise and a constant source of amusement! Thank you, Clemens Hotel, for a wonderful visit to Amsterdam!

Breakfast is splendid! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but clean. The hotel is in the middle of the centre of Amsterdam, that's easy! It isn't ideal for older people, due to the stairs.

LOVED this hotel! Aside from the dreadful staircase, this property had every ounce of charm and was a highlight of our trip! This was my first trip to Amsterdam, and I don't think we could have picked a better hotel. The staff was amazing - very helpful, kind and a pleasure to talk with. We didn't have to carry our...

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was clean and well furnished. Our bedroom at the front was slightly noisy but you're in a city centre. Excellent breakfast. It may be that I didn't see this on the website but a clearer warning about how many and how steep the steps from the entrance to the...
