I booked this hotel for price and location. We had a room for three with private shower and toilet. The room was basic with beds, a wardrobe, table and three chairs, towels and bathroom. Now if you want superb decor, lush carpets and perfect cleanliness then this is not the place for you. If you want somewhere to dump your...

Arrived at Manofa today and booked into somewhere else after seeing the room. In serious need of repairs and paint. Our room had no light as there was water coming in from the room upstairs, leaving the wall cracked and ceiling rotten. Didn't feel clean, safe or comfortable. It is a one star so probably ideal for those wanting a...

Most horrible place ever. Not very clean. Very poor decor.. unsafe ceilings. I'd rate 0 starts. I'd never come back only good thing was location as is on the strip of shops and close to the station. Other than that it's very very bad

Everything! we booked and paid trough booking.com and checked into the hotel with no issues. Myself and my friend decided to pop out for a few drinks and when we arrived back at the hotel, we had been locked out of our rooms and the man ON receptions shouted and sweared at us, called us liars and told us to...

This place is a complete disaster. Do not book it! It's old and falling apart and it's SO DIRTY! The bathrooms are disgusting, the rooms are gross enough that you can't even walk around wearing slippers or socks. The clean sheets smell like sweat and cigarettes. This place is disturbingly gross. The only good thing about it is the location....

I stayed here for 4 nights and you get what you pay for. Room was small but for us it was a place to sleep only in a prime location. Breakfast was basic continental that we managed to make once and it served it's purpose. Don't think I would stay here again but I would look in this area as...

I'm aware that you always get what you are paying for, but these hotel has been for far the worst I've ever experienced. It was a total nightmare since the second we opened the door. The worst service ever. The guys from the reception were incredibly rude. It wasn't clean, it was super old, the internet didn't work, animal noises...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
