The accommodation has a private entrance and is on the first floor (without lift) recently renovated canal house, which dates from 1930. I have two room one with canal view and other is on at the back of the house. The room has a private shower and toilet, directly accessable from the room; TV, DVD player, free WI-FI, a double bed, fridge, coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast is served in the room. Weekly and monthly rate available. In this rate breakfast is not included. The B&B is located in the old town centre of Amsterdam, only a 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Most attractions are at walking distance. Museum Square (Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum) can be reached within 10 minutes by tram number 2 or 5. From Central Station you can take local trams and buses and national and international train services. The owner speaks English, Dutch and some French. If you have any questions, just ask. Hope to welcome you soon in our B&B.

Lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend. Location perfect, the right combination of central yet quiet. Walking distance to everything. The hosts were very nice, helpful and discreet. The courtyard room was modern, large and comfortable. The en suite had a great shower with unerring temperature. The bed was soporific. Appropriate covid precautions were observed well and hand sanitiser provided. I would love to return.

This B&B deserves the great ratings it has. You are within walking distance to everything and the view can’t be beat. The location couldn’t have been better. We felt safe walking around at night and early morning. Walking distance to the train station and even though it shows close to the red light District on the map it was the next street over so you didn’t have all of the pedestrian traffic and noise from that area. The host was so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back.

I originally stated I did not receive a full refund after cancelling our reservation for this hotel, but I later found out I did receive the full refund entitled to me less the PayPal and exchange rate fees accessed for my transaction. Therefore, I wish to retract my orignal comments stating dissatisfaction with same as I now believe this hotel owner acted very appropriately when refunding my reservation deposit so my apologies for getting this wrong the first time.

We couldn't ask for more. Whenever I'm in Amsterdam, I plan to stay here. From the moment I saw the photos online, I was seduced by the place's obvious charm, central location, and the stunning views of the canal in the front room. When my husband and I arrived, we were blown away - somehow the room was even better than the photos. It was clean, the bed was big and so comfortable, the decor was modern and stylish, the room and ensuite bathroom (wet room style, with a large, powerful shower & a useful towel heater) were both spacious, by any standard but especially by Amsterdam standards, and the host provided all sorts of amenities - guide books, fiction, tea, coffee, utensils, plates, cups, wine glasses -- they even provided an umbrella and voltage converter plugs. We were both supremely impressed -- and we are nitpickers, very difficult to please, let alone impress. It was love at first sight. The host was easy to reach and we were able to get fresh towels when needed. A room clean was offered but we declined because we were sleeping in. There was both heating and air conditioning, and the windows opened wide so we could let the fresh air in and feel as though we were part of the city, even in our room. It also had a table for working or eating, and a large, flat screen television, but who wants to watch TV when the magic of Amsterdam is right at your doorstep? Amsterdam is my favorite place in the world, and this is my favorite part of town. This was my third time visiting. Both other times I was unhappy with my housing - the first was a cheap hostel which while easy on the wallet felt like sleeping in a closet. The second was a one bedroom apartment, which was not nearly as nice as this and quadruple the price. I felt cheated. Third time is a charm. This room was everything we needed and more - and it was affordable! A shock for such an amazing location. Incredible value. I suggest you book through their website for the best price. About a 15 minute walk to most attractions, on the outskirts of the red light district, we were right around the corner from Central Station, the famed Bulldog hostel & bar, coffee shops, Amsterdam breakfast gem, Omelegg, and many other fantastic dining options. The Amsterdam Cheese Deli across the canal gave out delicious samples of dozens of cheeses and we wound up leaving with several blocks. We didn't need to use public transit to get anywhere. In a word, it was perfect. I absolutely adore this place, it will forever be in my heart, and I will be sure to return to it as soon as I possibly can.
