I stayed here with three girlfriends in June, I was a little nervous about the hotel before we got there but I was pleasantly surprised once we arrived in our room. We booked a 4 bed hotel room which was in the building next to the hotel, whilst the room certainly wasn't luxurious (of course you would not expect luxury...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights.Tiny room, clean,no wifi signal as the room was adjacent to the main building and there was insufficient coverage. Breakfast was acceptable.Only one towel in the bathroom. Close to the center location.I would expect to be even cheaper compared to other European capitals offering hotels of such type

It was easy to find and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, albeit on the small side but still great to stay in. Breakfast was good, unusual for us but good! Access to transport is easy and lots to see in the area. We enjoyed our stay and if back in Amsterdam would book in...

the hotel is in good location, near to center and infront of a canal, with good views, the hotel are clean and confortable, the room a little bit small and simple after all, the breakfast was very poor and little variety.

It was basic, but what can you expect for the very low price! Amazing value for money still. Very clean, comfortable, good shower, nice breakfast, helpful staff, and great location. I would certainly stay here again.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
