Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

This place was great, what starts off looking like over the top extravagance is also surprisingly practical. Really, this place was designed for Instagram, which is fine, fortunately it wasn't populated with the superficial crowd. Our room was spacious and modern, although the

What do you mean by an open bathroom concept?
Yes, as Cornelius has said. THe only component of the bathroom visible in the bedroom is a sink, disguised as a dressing table, whose mirror also serves as a lamp. The shower and WC are both behind doors that are almost invisible, mirrored and flush with the walls.

I'm not familiar with Pulitzer, but my husband and I booked a semi-private canal tour with Leemstar and it was wonderful, plus the pickup and drop off was steps away from the Andaz. I would highly recommend it!
