Fantastic hotel in my fav area "De Pijp", close proximity to the big museums, walking distance of city center and just generally fabulous. They welcomed us with a glass of bubbles, so that is good first impression! The interior of the room was very hip and cool and they had this little basket stocked with locally produced goodies / foods....

Stayed at the hotel one night for a business trip and had a great service from the reception staff. The location is very central, rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant is offering a nice breakfast and dinner options.

A friend and I stayed at the Sir Albert for my quick birthday trip February 17-20. The hotel itself is beautiful and although we only stayed in the room to sleep, we would definitely stay here again. Room's are very clean and contemporary and possibly the best bed I have slept in for a hotel.

This is the second time we have been to this hotel in the last 12 months and it didn't fail to deliver. Great staff and proper boutique. Nothing is too much and the bar/ restaurant area is "cool". We love the DJ on the decks in the evening. We will go back for a third time.

We were initially disappointed with our room, although lovely, it was very...

Very nice location although NOT central! Just got home from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, they suggested lovely places to eat and showed us how to get around Amsterdam by drawing on the map for us. Slight catch as not having a credit card to leave at reception had to...

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
