We arrived on the train and in a very short walk were at the hotel - it was perfect! The location is in the center of everything, so you're able to walk to most places. The hotel itself is chic and has a fun vibe...More
It is expensive, but so worth it. The staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful at all times of the day and night. The bar is good value and very popular not just with people in the hotel locals as well. The breakfast is fantastic,...More

thank you so much for leaving this 5-star review.
We are delighted that you had such a wonderful time with us at art'otel! We hope to welcome you again in the future, when your travel brings you to Amsterdam again.

Can't think of any faults, great location and everything we expected. To be honest I can't remember too much as it was a while ago (before feb 2017) but I don't remember having any faults and was great location

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Our first room which was a quiet inside room had no door on the bathroom so we switched to an outside room which was noisy but had a door on the bathroom and a large shower. Sorry that I don't know about a bathtub. I'm still baffled that they thought we would want a room with no door to the bathroom at all.
