Thankfully we only stayed one night before going to another hotel. Pros: Fantastic location for exploring Amsterdam, nice restaurants nearby also bike rental and right in the canals. They also allowed us to check-in 3hrs early as room was already available. Nice comfy beds and decent shower. We had 3 people in a room with 4 singles beds, basic like... More

Our room in third floor has a small balcony with a city view. The room is quite small with a shower, also basin inside the room, and shared toilet just next to our room that give us easy access. They also has hair dryer on the wall and small refrigerator. The room is clean and they make up the room... More

The hotel is close to Westermarkt tram station and the Anne Frank Huis. They serve breakfast to the room which is a plus. Room, shower and (shared) toilet is clean. Stairs are very steep but I guess all budget hotels are like that in Amsterdam

Even you have to literally climb the stairs is a cosy nice hotel if you are gonna spend a break in Amsterdam. Our room was in the top floor and we had our own bathroom, tiny but always clean. Lovely breakfast delivery at 8 am in our door, basic stuff but really nice and our room has been clean and... More

You don't book this hotel expecting the Ritz Carlton. You book this hotel for the location and the fact that it's a bargain. From the beginning, the guys who run the place were very accommodating, and they're always here at work. The steps will be a challenge for some, but if you yodel while you go up them, it's actually... More

This was my second time visiting Amsterdam & I was a tad nervous when booking our room as the hotel is only a 1 star, but the hotel exceeded my expectations by far! The location is great, literally only 10 minutes walk from Dam Square and only 15 minutes walk from the Train Station. The room was cosy, comfortable and... More

Stayed here at the weekend with a couple of friends. Its the eighth time I've visited the city and this hotel is by far the best location. We had a nice surprise of a balcony with our room too :) the room is basic but very clean and the staff very friendly. The stairs are endless but so is any... More

I usually stay at another hotel on the same street that was charging piss-take prices for the time I wanted to stay. So this seemed an ideal substitute as I like the convenient location. First impressions were good with everything spotlessly clean and freshly painted. I asked for a quiet room at the back; it was blissfully peaceful with no... More
