Three of us stayed in the tea leaf apartment for two nights and i can honestly say the place was immaculate. On arrival we were welcomed and given a small tour and explanation of how everything works it is modern and very well equiped. Walking distance to all major attractions and local supermarkets. A traditional Amsterdam town house so be prepared for very steep stairs and no lift. The best thing about Prinsenhuis is the location but overall we were disappointed. In my opinion there's better in Amsterdam for the same price. Tired fittings and a none too subtle colour scheme. Also scratching with bites which we suspect we got here.

A great location but would choose to go elsewhere for our next visit to Amsterdam. Considering the price paid I wasn't expecting a place fitted out with tired IKEA standard furniture. Don't expect subtle when it comes to the colour scheme either. The really off putting thing is the flea bites after the stay.

Not the cheapest accomodation in Amsterdam, but the location made it worthwhile. "Everything" is within walking distance! The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable and the owner was very hejpful in meeting our needs.

Me and two friends stayed here in early March 2016 on a guys weekend in Amsterdam. We were allowed early access to the apartment which was nice as we had already been in the city for four hours with nothing to do. Be warned, the stairs are VERY steep so take care as you walk up them. We stayed in... More

I stayed in the Coral room for one night with my best friend and my 2 year old son. The Prinsenhuis is in a nice neighbourhood just a short walk from the Flower market. It's a little further out than some of the main hotels but the benefit of this is that it is nice and quiet, and in any... More

This was my second stay at prinsenhuis - amazing as expected! Lovely apartment can't fault anything about it! Great location, walking distance to dam square or a 5 minute tram. The bagel shop on the corner is lovely for breakfast and the supermarket right around the corner is just great and so efficient. Brilliant owner, couldn't be more friendly. Overall,... More

Amazing apartment. The owner, Edwin, is extremely helpful and catered to any of our needs making sure we had a great stay. The coral apartment itself was wonderful. Very luxurious with everything you need. Pictures do not do any justice; it is actually more spacious than it may seem. Bed was brilliant and also the sofa bed was just as... More

We stayed in the tea leaf apartment. There is one bedroom and one living-room with a kitchen (and of course the bathroom). The kitchen is well equipped, so you can prepare meals. There is a supermarket in less than 5 min walk. The owner provided us with a child's crib. The apartment is clean and extremely spacious. There is air-conditioning.... More
