Very large room and facilities quite adequate. Helpful staff but you may have to be a bit patient in busy periods. I really like the location. Very scenic. Lots of boats and little fishing vessels There are a lot of sports facilities nearby and a church. Village atmosphere. Good place to unwind

Our Sat Nav found the hotel easy enough but we arrived "Early" at around 12:30pm and were told "Your early", check in is 3pm, we have to clean the rooms after guests leave, we did have a wait but not till 3pm. We were shown to our room above the "Bar" where the cleaner was still changing bed sheets. The...

I stopped by for a drink and we ordered gamba's. We waited an hour, asked several times for the food but every time they said 'yes the are coming right up'. But we didn't see any gamba paid to leave. There was just a little sorry and no further explanation orso. Very disappointing as it is a great place!

The rooms are okay but not very clean. The room service didnt even give us fresh towels. the walls are paper thin and one can hear everything going...

We booked this hotel in a hurry, not realising how far it was from the city..... It took a bit of planning, but if you drive to the park and ride and take the tram its about 25 mins to the Central station. About €6 to park and ride for 2 people...pretty good! The hotel is set on a peninsula,...

I spent my first night in Amstyerdam at the village Hotel. It is really beautifull and is surrounded by old typical dutch houses. It is located in Durgerdammerdijk, which is not close to Amsterdam city. But the room was very cleen and tidy the beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

“You can pay extra (as I did) to get a lake view room. Beautiful view, I must say, but there are outside tables of hotel guests and others chattering away. Privacy removed when opening the blinds to get a view of the lake. Also, there's a fine wire-like mesh over the window that detracts from the view.”
  • View marred by wire mesh covering window.
  • Comfy but somewhat dingy bedroom.
