Hotel located right next to Rijskmuseum. All the staff were very helpful and breakfast was very good. Quite a touristic hotel. Rooms were clean and neat. Internet speed was good and worked well across all the areas.

We stayed at apollo museum hotel in march location is just on outskirts but walking distance to redlight and good shopping all around you. Hard Rock Cafe is just across the road. Cheapest and easiest way to get to hotel from airport is the number 197 bus 5 euro per person, and is then a 2 min walk.

Lovely hotel at an affordable price, so close to Paradiso club, it´s amazing to get out of a party and be so close to "home". Staff is nice, the rooms are nice, and one of the nicest showers i ever tried!

Went as a surprise 21st birthday present for my partner, we don't drink or smoke so paid for a good hotel, staff were amazing same with the location but I'd paid a lot for a 2 night stay here expecting a lovely view as shown on the pics but we were shoved in the basement where it was very dull...

The hotel reception area seemed really nice to begin with but on check in problems started to arise, I had to pay for my room with a debit card and was told I couldn't pay it in cash and I was not informed of this before hand, and being a tourist I had all my money I needed in cash,...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
