Rooms have a loft feel and are very stylishly decorated and furnished. The staff were really helpful and friendly - couldn’t do enough. A stone’s throw from the museum’s and other sights. Will definitely stay again.
Location was good.
Clean, modern, trendy.
Room layout a little strange (fine if you’re with a partner). The sink area is in the bedroom with an open shower and the loo is behind a glass/mirrored door which when the light is on you can’t see...More
My husband and I stayed here here for four nights following our wedding. I was a bit nervous, as every time I've been to Amsterdam before, I've stayed in Centrum/Red Light District, but took a gamble. I needn't have worried!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights last April during the height of the tulip season, so much was sold out well in advance. The PH Hotel Oosteinde worked very well for us on this trip.

Hotel is in a great location, not in the middle of tourist traps but not too far away either.
There is shops and cafes within just a couple hundred meters. The hotel itself is a "design/boutique hotel". Room was cozy, clean and big enough for...More

If you have bags then get the train from Schipol Airport to Centraal Station - it's about 5 Euros. There are ticket machines all over the station concourse which you enter after leaving arrivals. On arrival at Centraal you can grab a taxi - it'll be about 15-20 euros. However, if you feel brave jump on the number 4 tram (stops at the front of the station - ask) buy a ticket from the conductor who sits in a little booth in the tram (if you are traveklling more on the same day, get a 24 hours pass - about 8 Euro) and get off at Frederiksplein. Check your map - you will only be 100 metres from the Hotel then. Dead easy. If in doubt, ask, everyone speaks english. If there are two or more of you, though, a taxi from schipol to the hotel may be only 20 euros more though but this way you understand a bit more about the geography of the trip - and it's quite a bit faster than a cab. Good luck!
