We loved staying with Lesley in her comfortable, well-located home. Only three rooms, we had the large master suite on the first floor. Beautifully decorated room with a spacious and modern bathroom. Fresh croissants on the breakfast menu along with local cheeses and lots of other things. Lesley knows how to run a beautiful and comfortable bed and breakfast. The...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Aemstelhuys for the weekend and we could not have picked a better place. We had a bit of a nightmare journey getting to Amsterdam, which meant we arrived really late on Friday night but Lesley was extremely accommodating and understanding. The breakfasts in the morning were out of this world. Being half French, I...

We stayed with Lesley for 5 days and it couldn't have been better. The accommodation was elegant, comfortable, clean, charming and very Amsterdam. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all Amsterdam attractions yet, a quiet residential setting. Breakfast was amazing, home baking, fresh cheeses, coffee, tea and a veritable array of local delights. Lesley was a great hostess,...

Perfect location and a lovely house - and much better value compared to other hotels we looked at! The room had everything and the breakfast was fantastic (especially the cheese board!) Will be going...

I found Lesley's Aemstelhuys Bed & Breakfast by reading reviews on Tripadvisor - and considering the previous words of praise, my expectations were high. I was not disappointed! Lesley thinks of everything, she is a gracious hostess, interesting and knowledgeable and generous, the house is clean and wonderfully furnished and the breakfast is a delight, with Dutch cheeses, homemade croissants,...

This B&B is such a wonderful and warm place to stay! The owner Lesley definitely makes you feel at home and there were also 2 cute cats that kept us company. The room was very lovely, with nice decorations on the walls and a warm atmosphere. It's very clean and tidy. During our stay Lesley prepared a huge breakfast with...
