This place is great-- such a deal. We had private room, very cozy. Nice terrace on water, nice bar. Very good free breakfast buffet, too. Loved the coffee machine! Nice cozy bar. Woodsy surroundings. great beer selection in bar.

This is a great price. The location is not in the city center but you can easily take a bus that will take you straight to the door and straight into the city. Rooms were clean and facility was well kept. Large filling breakfast available and bar on site. I would rate higher but the location isn't ideal if you... More

Nice and clean hostel. Breakfast included in a room price. Not far from a railway station 15-20 min. walk by nice path along a water channel. Free drinks tea or coffee from a machine. Nice outside terrace by a water (chanell).

-Rooms: old, spartan, bathroom and toilet smelled, room was musty, but good mattresses, from 1 am we all slept well (before it was noisy due to traffic and restaurant / bar / other guests) - Breakfast: okay, buffet, some bio-products - Value for money: too expensive for the service (beds to make yourself, towels to have yourself or hire, not... Dear Yvonne, Thank you for your review. Indeed we are a hostel. The prices include toerist tax and breakfast. (€34 per person per night high season) We have bike parkings in front of the hostel (60 bikes) and beside the butterfly garden 10 + electric bike charge point. And at the waterside room for another 40 bikes. It is even... More

Family room for 4 with bunk beds. DIY making up the beds. Towels are extra. The staff are helpful, it is clean and tidy but spartan but is very good value for money. The meals are basic but nutritious and cheap. Overall it's a god location with easy cycle or bus access into Haarlem. There is little parking on site,... More

Perfectly situated for access to the beautiful city of Haarlem and of course Amsterdam. My wife and I stayed for two nights with our two children ages 7 and 12 years in a room for 4. Everything was very clean and tidy and although very simple, it was exactly what we needed. We found it very peaceful without any disruptions... More

I would highly recommend. Staff was very professional, nice and helpful. Very good, tasty and fresh food every day. I have no objections. The only drawback is the location. Hostel is located very far from the center - about 5km.

I stayed at the Haarlem Stayokey for 2 nights. I had great roommates both nights in a 6 bed girls dorm room. The rooms were big, clean, with shower and bath in the room. I had booked a few hours earlier and had a smooth check-in. The hostel is a ways from the central station but a bus will deliver... More

Lots of things you need to do by yourself, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. We missed a lot like a tv and even towels, but for this price a B&B is on 20 minutes by bus to the lively centre of Haarlem not available in mid and high season. You have to make your own bed with... More
