Small things with minimal cost makes your property better, slippers, tissue box, better amenities bellman, beds are horrible, one soap for 2 couples in room!, receptionist are slow in work and completing customer request, best thing in this hotel is location and private paid parking.

Stayed for 2 nights. Signage to the room could've been improved as I ended up with my bags in a conference room! No shower gel in either of the dispensers in the bathroom and they were nor refilled on my 2nd night either. Mini bar was quite expensive. But they always are! Beds / pillows very comfortable. Really good nights... More

Whenever we visit family living in Almelo we stay in the Theater Hotel. It was a little bit difficult this time to find our room: signage can be improved. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast is excellent and the staff very helpful. We were lucky, we had the last spot in the parking garage.

We've just come back from a holiday in Almelo where we stayed at this hotel, it was recommended by our friends who live in this city. This is our second visit and had a junior suite which is situated on the front of the hotel over looking the entrance, The room was lovely clean and tidy and very warm in... More

We stayed here because we wanted to attend a performance in the theatre. The hotel is situated in the city centre but parking was doable. The room we were given was a nice room although the door to the balcony was covered up and therefore, we could not go outside. A bit of a quirky room but that makes it... More

Be aware that 90% of the beds are single beds. The hotel is outdated, matresses were worn out. Staff is very friendly and the pool is nice but be aware to have an ugly room when you book a standard or economy. Parking is free, breakfast is tasteful. All together: we got mixed feelings.

I've been coming here for 4 years and the location is great (can walk to a pretty vibrant city center or peaceful park) but the rooms are dated and worn. The wifi coverage is horrible in some rooms (I usually work in the lobby). Some rooms (west facing I think) get HOT when it is sunny (no AC control in... More

The bad: - The WiFi is slow, very slow. - There isn't much light in the room, which makes it very dark during the evening/night. - The free parking area is very small, which forced me from using the expensive city parking quite often. The Good: - The breakfast is large and daily changes slightly. - The hotel is located... More

This hotel is very good. John at the bar was very informative and very interactive not only with us but with all customers. The hotel is at citycentre and close to all necessary outlets. The rooms were also excellent but few stains on the carpet.

How can I be critical of anything in this charming town. The hotel is walking distance to the vibrant town center, a pedestrian area with shops, bars and restaurants. The back terrace is WONDERFUL for an afternoon wind-down. But my room was dark and the amenities a bit dated. That back wing with all the windows is HOT, making the... More
