It was an amazing night spent in Fidder, Zwolle. Vintage-looking rooms and friendly staff is just fascinating! Service, room and breakfast were perfect. I will definitely come back one more time and reccomend this place to everyone!
7 ageing bikers turn up. Made very welcome by friendly and professional staff. Rooms are good with a free fan supplied for cooling. Restaurant and bar are very good with a nice garden to have a drink in. Only a 10 minute walk to the station and 15 minutes to the town centre. If you enjoy whisky this is the place to be. Have booked already for next year
We stayed for 1 night in this boutique hotel, en route to Germany. We booked the Burgundy arrangement which included room, breakfast and a 3-course meal at the hotel restaurant. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a spacious room with 4 poster, queen-sized bed and charming decoration. Bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer were provided. Bathroom looked dated. Unfortunately the mattress dipped slightly in the middle. We did provide feedback upon checkout. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was fantastic! I wouldn’t give that a miss. The hotel bar also boasts the widest selection of whiskey collection in Zwolle. So if you’re a fan, it’s the bar to be in. Breakfast the next day was also lovely with a good selection of hot and cold breakfast plus very good coffee. As a tea lover, I was spoilt with so many choices of loose tea. Staff were always friendly and service was always with a smile. There’s free street parking right in front of the hotel. Note that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, we only had one luggage so it wasn’t a problem carrying it up the first floor. …
Spent a night here before visiting nearby Dinoland with grandson. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and enjoyed chatting to a very excited 3 year old. Menu, whilst not extensive, was all freshly cooked. Pork belly burger, sea bass and salmon enjoyed by all. Amazing whisky selection of around 370 to choose from, impressing this lady from Scotland! Decor traditional old Dutch style. Just lovely and worth a visit.
Great service. Lovely helpful staff and a good breakfast. Nice outdoor area for enjoying a drink or a meal. Very close to the town and within walking distance of the train station. We rented bicycles and the staff were very helpful organising everything
