Such a lovely city, such great people, such a tired and overpriced hotel. Everything from the locked door on arrival, to the tired carpets, to the cheap decor means I wish there was somewhere else with availability, but there wasn't. Only upside, there's a nice restaurant on the corner called De Kust. Drop the bag and go find somewhere else....

As expected, the hotel was clean and quiet. There was coffee and cake in the lobby any time of the day. There are so many bike riders during rush hour, you have to be very careful crossing the streets Looks like they have the right of way! Very nice reasonable restaurant on the corner

It's a good location - a bit away from the city center - which you can take a bus to or walk from the train station. The rooms I stayed in was basic with a small en suite. It's kind of a rambling big building. You can get lost on your first couple of times to your room. The staff...

I stayed here recently for the weekend. Everywhere else appeared to be booked so it was my only choice! However I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Yes it is a typical old fashioned two houses knocked into one hotel arrangement but it was so clean, I cannot emphasise this enough. The room staff do a terrific job. The sheets...

Our stay was a pleasure, the staff was very Nice and helpful. We received a very large room (19). Though the rooms are a bit minimalistic they were cosy enough to feel welcome. It had the same dutchy-homey feeling i had at dutch friends and relatives. Tge breakfast was nice - coffee was a bit watery but yeah ... -...

A nice small hotel in a walking distance from Utrecht main attractions. The room was simple and clean, and it had an armchair, a desk, a TV and, last but not least, a nice view of a canal. A tea or a coffee-maker would be a nice addition though, but neither this nor refrigerator was present. The bathroom was a...

The hotel is well located near the bus stop for very frequent services into the centre, or a 20-30 min walk on a nice day. It is one of the 'cheaper' hotels in the area but still not a bargain overall. The room was rather musty and even though it is a non-smoking building somebody obviously was doing so as...

Room was clean, quite big with flat tv with some English channels (for ex. BBC London). Wifi worked fine. Bathroom clean althougt the shower cubicle would maybe need some refreshment....

would not recommend staying here. The first room we had was very very humid and smelled of mold and located in the basement. Luckily we were able to switch rooms. The beds are really small, more 1person bed than for 2. The bathroom is very basic, and the shower evenmore. It's cheap...

The hotel is cheap and it's in front of the bus stop: these are the two strengths of this place. The area is a bit away from the city centre, so you always have to take the bus unless you want to walk (it's 25-30 minutes on foot), but there are some restaurants and pubs nearby. No near supermarkets (or...
