Middelburg is a good base for visiting Zeeland. Direct buslines to Oostkapelle and Domburg and Vlissingen. This Hotel is the nearest Hotel to the trainstation, which connects with half hourly direct Trains to Vlissingen or Amsterdam/Rotterdam/Den Haag. It's clean, friendly and the breakfast is pretty nice. Would always stay there again.

We stayed two nights here while visiting friends in the area, and chose the hotel because of its location opposite the railway station. Very good value given that an adequate breakfast was included in the room price. However the room was very small, room cleaning was cursory and the internal fixtures and fittings on the upper floors were somewhat dated.

This is a convenient hotel, opposite the train station (you will not hear the trains) and with a (paid) parking across the road so very accessible. The center is a 5 min walk from the hotel. The building looks kind of grand from the outside but once inside you realize the glamour days are long gone. The décor is very...

Despite standing in front of the hotel at night I found it kind of difficult to find the entrance. Maybe I expected more lights on the building or a real hotel entry. Nothing like that. The friendly staff checked me in and got me a room at the 4th floor. The room was tiny and very basic. It smelled clean...

Lets start with the name of this hotel " du commerce" suggesting suitable for business stays. For a business stay you request a good bed, proper bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Only the free Wi-Fi is applicable in this hotel. This hotel looks apealing from the outside but this is decieving. Interiour is worn and outdated. The rooms are very noisy...

Very vriendlief staff but after à night sleep-ins in the room you need an other holiday due to the bad beds and noisy room. On the plus: the hotel is near the centre of Middelburg, but parking you car is costly and difficult

Stayed four nights for a professional conference in town. I was a little leery after reading some other reviews on Tripadvisor, but had a pleasant stay in a single room on the second floor. The hotel is right across the canal from the train station and about 5 minutes' walk to the town center. I arrived early in the day...

The hotel is old, but is located opposite the railway station which is very convenient. the breakfast was very good, served in a nice hall. I would advise to renew the carpet of the hotel and do some renovations.

Perhaps if there were no other guests on your floor, below or above you, you'd sleep beautifully. However, as this was not the case, I did not. The girls next door to me having a laugh at 2am sounded like they were standing at the end of my bed. You can hear every movement in the hallway/doors, and as pets...
