After our check-in I wanted to write a mild review. Suggesting that for one day/night and for the last option for a room in Rotterdam one can book it for one! night, because of the near of the Centraal station. After our first "night" (in which we got no sleep) that mild attitude was lost. So here is a summary...

If you're someone, who cares a great deal about comfort and hygiene, then this is most likely not the place for you. If you're someone who wants (or has) to travel on a budget and are willing to make some concessions, then this hotel will just do. It's located as centraly as it gets (close to all the main landmarks...

I' ve been here for one night during a exibition, I paid 80 € per night when the rate of the other other was 3 times. The quality is very pour the furniture are old. I can't say that is not so clean. So at the end for a night is ok, for more better to find something else.

This place is cheap, but it is beautiful in that they do not hide the fact. In fact, Hendrix stayed here as did Marilyn. It is one of the only buildings in Rotterdam to survive WWII and so is revered in some ways. Rooms are simple, plumbing is ok, water is hot and there's always help at the desk. I...

Waaaay over priced for the accommodation you get. Wifi is useless, shower leaks, no cold water in basin, funny smell in bathroom, cold breakfast restaurant. If this was cheap, I might make my peace with it, but won't recommend it to a friend.

I was here with a work colleague. At fist, both of us received terrible rooms (noise from the heating pipes, strong odor from the freshly painted bathroom). We asked to change the rooms and the girl from the reception told us the classical "we are full, no other room available". The other rooms we received were "ok-ish". Acceptable at most....

Just about everything was a little or very depressing and dreary. There were some fairly tough looking guys hanging around in the lobby and leaning up against the elevator door. Of the four rooms that I was shown one had a terrible smell. They all had holes in the walls, chipped paint, flaking plaster. The room I took had a...

Location only good thing about the hotel, central but definitely not Grand. Very shabby and damp double room at back of hotel, filthy carpet and bathroom, no hairdryer, smelt musty and damp. Door handle to bathroom not fixed on and not enough room to move! Glad we only had to stay for one night. Breakfast okay but problems with the...

Ive booked a double room and paid 73 euros to stay just for one night. The bed was comfy but thats where the positive ends. The was either freezing cold or boling hot, so could not user for shower, the water pressure was absolutely appalling, very weak to have a shower, I spent 25 minutes inside and couldnt shower me....

You get what you pay for, suitable for friends who don't plan to spend much time in the room. WiFi worked ok, beds were comfy enough and the location is ideal. The downsides were the facilities, the noise. The rooms are old but adequately maintained. Bathroom was poor but that was to be expected for the price.
