Stayed in a comfort room city view. A small but very modern room with a new bathroom. The room had a coffeemaker and a water boiler and a nice view overlooking the square. The location is next to shopping, restaurants, museums, and the Parliament. You can walk from Den Haag Central station through the city, which takes approx 20 min. It's a nice hotel, but the walls are a bit thin when other guests are coming through the hall way or are in the room next to you.

Dear guest, We would like to thank you for writing this wonderful and kind review about your stay at our Boutique Hotel Corona. It's great that you enjoyed our beautiful city so much, partly because of our location in the center of The Hague! Thank you for your feedback about the walls, unfortunately we can’t change anything about the acoustic in the hotel. We hope you didn’t have too much inconvenience about the noise of the other guest. It is also good to read that you were satisfied with the room and facilities. It is a pleasure for us to hear that we could meet your wishes and expectations. We would also like to thank you very much for your very kind compliments. This does us a lot of good and we have shared this with our entire team! Just completed a 4 night stay on our first visit to Den Haag staying in the Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. The Hotel is centrally located with lots of bars and restaurants in the area and its across the square from the Parliament buildings. Our room (110) was clean and had a double bed plenty of cupboard space and a separate toilet with a rainfall shower. All staff within the Hotel were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable

We recently spent four nights here and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is located right in the centre of the largely traffic free old city so perfect for walking around and seeing sights. It is an old building that has been extensively updated. We asked for a quiet room and found ourselves located in the middle of the hotel on the third floor. No view but very quiet indeed. The Superior room was large with very comfortable super king bed, three chairs, desk, wardrobe, TV and fridge. BBC 1 and 2 obtainable on TV. Decor is austere with little in way of wall decoration and no rugs on a hard floor. Bathroom was good size with very large bath. Separate shower has completely open front so care had to be taken that water did not go everywhere. Staff were incredibly helpful including helping us to pack up some kitchen knives to send back to the UK as we doubted they would get through Eurostar security! Downstairs there is a large, attractively designed restaurant where food could be obtained all day. It is apparently run by a separate company and is open to non-hotel guests but provides breakfast for the hotel. We ate there each morning and had one evening meal and one lunch. All very good. We would certainly return to the Hotel Corona and recommend it to those wishing to be in the heart of the city but not wanting to pay silly prices.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel after our bike/barge trip ended in Amsterdam (a short train ride away), and really liked it. It is a quaint, historic little hotel on a nice square just off the main road and tramline (unfortunately with some construction going on in the square – but luckily not too loud during our stay in early July), a short walk from the train station, the Mauritshuis museum, Escher museum, the Hofvijver and Binnenhof/palace buildings, and old town walking streets. We had a comfortable and quiet room on the back/side of the hotel (no view out the window, but that was ok), with a good bed, desk, minibar fridge, and coffee maker. There is a nice restaurant and bar downstairs, with seating outside, where we enjoyed wine and a very good “surf and turf” dinner our last night. We used their bikes one day for a great day of cycling in a big loop (with some suggestions from the very helpful woman at Reception) north to Wassenaar, on to Leiden, out to the beach at Scheveningen, then to Madurodam (worth a visit! Hadn’t been since I was a kid – loved it), by the Peace Palace, and finally south to Delft, where we had a drink on the large main square before riding back to The Hague in time for wine and dinner. We did not have the hotel’s breakfast, but found many options nearby to have coffee and breakfast on our way to the train station. As elsewhere in Belgium and the Netherlands on this trip, we found a lot of construction and road works going on everywhere, which was a bit of a pain when touring/cycling around town, with scaffolding covering many places, roads dug up and loud construction noises ongoing. But we enjoyed our stay, and would stay at Boutique Corona (which was also good value, we thought, for such a 4+ star hotel) again. Thank you!

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it were not for the location of our room. Apparently three hotels were joined into one hotel. In order to reach our room, we had to take an elevator up one floor, walk to another elevator and take it down one floor and then walk to our room. In case of an emergency, we would have been in trouble. The room was comfortable and they have a nice buffet breakfast. Dinner also is available.

Dear Dugan, First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to share our experiences with us, we really appreciate this a lot. As an old 17th century building that is renovated the construction is quite complicated. In case of an emergency there are emergency exists on every floor so no guest in any room would ever be in trouble. We are very sorry to hear that you felt you would have been in trouble in case of emergency and our sincere apologies for this feeling. We will have a look to improve the signs for our guests on these rooms and halls. Please always feel free to share your concern with the reception during your stay. Our team is very willing to find the best solution for any problems during your stay. Unfortunately we cannot change your recent experience so our sincere apologies for this. We are happy to hear that the room itself was comfortable for you. Also, we will share your compliments about the breakfast buffet with the restaurant. They will be happy to hear your compliment. We want to apologize again for the feeling about the location of the room, we hope you will be giving us the chance to improve your experience in our hotel. Greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. The AC was on in the room, so it was nice and cool after a long day travelling. The room is not big, but it was spotlessly clean. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The bathroom was like new. There is a fridge and a safe in the room. Coffee and tea making facility. Bottled water replenished daily. There wasn’t a sound to be heard. Even in the morning, when the housekeeping staff were on the corridor. All the staff whom we encountered over the three days were excellent. The location is perfect, close to shopping streets and the Mauritshuis is across the street. The No. 1 tram stops nearby, going direct to the seaside at Scheveningen and to Delft. We had breakfast at Palmette nearby each morning. Nice staff and great croissants. The 385 bus from the central station goes out to the Louwman Museum. A great collection of cars. Next time we are in The Hague we will stay at the Corona.

With a group of 11 family members we stayed a weekend in Corona. Our rooms at the 4th floor were quiet as they were located to the back. And that for the central location at the Buitenhof-quare is great. Rooms are nicely furnished with a comfortable, large beds and - as it is an old building - all slightly different. Definitely to be mentioned is the breakfast in the BIT restaurant. Good selection and no rush at all. The service was friendly, but not always efficient. A few things just did not went as smooth as they should. Corrected, but not compensated.
