Detailed Reviews
I have stayed at Hotel Sebel 3 times for 3 weeks or more since January 2022 and will stay there again at the end of June. In this time work has started on tramline 16 but there are other bus or tram options in less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I have always had a room with a little bit more space and a kitchen, but the facilities in the main kitchen an also be used. From 7 am to 9pm you can have as much coffee as you like. Many restaurants are in the immediate area and an Albert Hein XL in 500 meters and a COOP in 200 meters.
The rooms are comfortable and if anything is lacking you can ask reception. This hotel has become a home to me, because of its location and convenience and mostly its 5-star staff. Nothing is too much to ask of Achou and Dora. The other staff are well-trained, professional and helpful but I got to know Dora and Achou over email and from Covid-19 times. You won't regret staying here.

We stayed for 6 Nights at Hotel Sebel and the room was very nice and clean.
If you Look forward to go out, there will be always an option. All around there are restaurants and very nice bars. There is also a train station which you bring to the city and also the central station 👍🏻👍🏻

I enjoyed staying here. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, friendly staff, great air conditioning, a nice suite, and even a tiny little balcony.
What was not so good was the bed had a topper which moved in the night, slipping to one side. Apart from a few snacks, there is no food in the hotel itself, but it's available across the road and down the street, so that was fine with us. Finally, the stairs. Typically, Dutch properties are tall and narrow with steep, twisting stairs. Our room 27 was on the 3rd, top floor. Carrying luggage was difficult and exhausting. Walking down was also troublesome because the steps are narrow and steep. It's a heritage property, so there is no lift. If anyone has mobility issues or big cases, I'd recommend asking for a lower floor. Photographs attached.
Please understand The Hague is expensive for hotels, eating out etc.

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Sebel. Comfortable quiet Room and very kindly people. Located in an amazing area - the Zeeheldenkwartier with original Shops, Cafés and Restaurants. Other interesting Highlights of The Hague and beaches are not far.

A small, peaceful hotel with excellent service. The rooms are very clean, the staff is so helpful. Everything is around the hotel. Nice, small restaurants, bakeries at every corner. You feel there as a local citizen. It is easy to reach all interesting places on foot. Walk a lot. Try to taste everything. And don't forget to rent a bicycle and go to the sea.

If you have huge luggage, this is a challenging hotel as there is no lift. It is near to a lot of the tourist attraction. There are some food choices there. About 10 mins walk from the nearest bus stop. Staff on the reception are friendly to explain how to get to the different tourist attraction. It has a coffee and tea machine at the cafe area that is open for you to have it for free from 8am to 10pm. There is no kettle in the room
