Initial reaction was good from the outside and the location is great. However the place was not cleaned to a high standard and was clearly old, as you could smell smoke everywhere. At least the rooms were averagely clean, but again, very old.

It may have been cutting edge once but now it is just tired looking and in need of a major overhaul. Location is horrible - surrounded by lots of low end touristy shops and fats food places although it is close to the station. It is NOT close to any parking and you cannot off load your bags from a... More

Its in a great location, and it has free wi-fi. The staff where all actually really friendly too. The room was visibly cleaned but with scuff marks on the walls and stains on the curtains and wholly inadequate shower facilities its not ideal. The sheets smelt clean at least, as did the towels, the room smelled clean too. But it... More

This hotel has a very friendly staff with an excellent situation (very close to the Anterwp Centraal train station) and rooms are clean. However, it has a poor breakfast and the rooms are a bit weird: big but with no real furniture, coldish. Probably a good value for business though.

Some of the reception staff could be a bit more friendly.... Comfy beds Nice rooms Good breakfast Great location I would recommend this hotel for its location alone....right across from central station.

I've just woke up at room 707, and I have to admit it was the worst experience I had in a hotel during my trip to Europe, in more than 10 cities, and almost always in a 4 star hotel (I won't compare De Keyser with the 5 star hotels I've been in around here). The room smelled like a... More

We booked this "four star" hotel because it was centrally located and near central station. There the good things ended. Reception was undermanned and the guy insisted on answering the phone rather than attending to waiting hotel guests. The room was a disgrace and bordering on a health hazard. The so called mini bar contained two cans of soft drinks... More

The pictures on the website are inaccurate. I will post some which show stained walls and dirty bathroom I arrived on a Monday evening at about 1920 - a long queue for reception - staff very slow but polite. The floor was scratched and dirty. The wall under the air conditioning unit was stained white where the ac unit had... More

Staff couldn't careless because they still get guests staying. Plastic cups because they don't give proper cups in room as you might break them. 4 sachets coffee no sugar ,spoons or info in room what number to call for any depth in hotel so as we were on Floor 9 up and down in lift. Filthy dirty curtains and nets.... More
