I stay at the Tasse d'Argent almost every second month. I like the unique atmosphere in this family run small hotel. I like the atmosphere at Tasse d'Argent so much, that I always want to return back there. The breakfast is simple, but delicious. I think this is the only hotel in Brussels that keeps that cosy and old day...

If you are someone against the hospital-sterile hotel chains or internet-bookings or both, this is your place to be in Brussels. I totally disagree with the previous review. It is a very nice little family-run hotel with a quite unique atmosphere. Old fashioned, characterful and very clean. I felt immediately welcome. I have no complaints to make about the quality of the hotel; the rooms were clean and perfectly acceptable, the location was central. However, what made this stay an absolute nightmare was the horrible reception that I received from the hotel's owner. I was screamed at several times, once for a crime as unreasonable as asking for my cold coffee...
